opt - busy, busy
Finally finished painting the house on Friday, but I'm still finding paint in my hair after several washings. Turns out latex paint soaks in pretty well. But I think the place looks nice, if I may say so myself. It's a good little bachelor pad.

And to all of those that I didn't tell about yesterday - yes, I did fly at Quidditch Trials. Now that I'm stationed here instead of Romania, I only do field work every once and a while, and with Dexter and Lindsay's help, the paperwork is pretty under control. We shall see what happens, though. I think I flew well, but I'm definitely not the top seeker I was seven years ago.

I hope you like the gifts I left for you. I'm no good at picking out jewelry, but the bracelet was from Romania, and the earrings are apparently your birthstone. The tee shirt was just for fun, but I am hoping you'll wear it during Quidditch practice or something and think of me.

	They're both exhilarating in different ways. Quidditch is a team sport, and a competition, so there's the thrill of competing in an intense environment with a group of people that you've bonded with trying to achieve the same goal. When working with dragons, part of the thrill is staying alive. The other part is just how incredibly marvelous creatures they are. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
