Even though I hate to admit it,I'm sort of glad that we have a bye this week. I am loving being a part of Tutshill, which is an incredible team (undefeated so far!), but I didn't realize how much I was asking myself to have two jobs, especially one that demands a good bit of traveling.

Off to Romania for a day or two to catch up with old friends and visit the reserve. Of course, I will be checking in (at the very least) for Quidditch, but I do need to spend the nights out there, take samples, and get updated on all of the progress.

[Siblings]
I miss you lot. What have you been up to? Can we have siblings dinner or something?

And here I thought the only reason I didn't have one sooner was because I was in Romania the past seven years! When did they get so popular?

It is a great feeling to be back out there. I just wish I was doing more to help the team. All that training each week, and then all I get to do is cheer on the sidelines.

I suppose staying busy is the trade for having two jobs. Things were a lot easier when I had another dragonologist working at my side, but unfortunately, she took another project out of the country, so it's back to just me with Lindsay as an assistant.

I don't know, but I can't believe I took this long, either! Maybe it's because I'm getting old.

Yeah, being in reserves is...well, a little frustrating. I found it really hard a lot of the time when I started in the league. It's worth it, though - you'll be all the more ready when you're finally out there!

I wish I could help! But I know absolutely nothing about dragons except that some of them are very beautiful, and all of them are very deadly. At least being on the reserves gives you more time to devote to that, for now? Trying to balance both would be so hard!

You are definitely not old, Val.

I wasn't expecting it to be as frustrating as it is. I want to be out there now. I hate feeling like I'm doing nothing.

Yes, I'm thankful that I still have time to devote to dragons. Although, it seems like I have no time to eat or sleep at all, right now.

It's nice to hear you that! I know I'm not but some people make such a fuss about turning thirty, it's hard not to dwell on it sometimes!

You'll find a way to balance everything out, don't worry! You're very gifted, Charlie.

Thirty is still young. Forever young!

I hope so. I guess I've never been gifted when it comes to balancing a schedule.
