I suppose I ought to have owled, but you should have seen the look on my mum's face when I turned up this morning unannounced. Felt late to me, but apparently I had forgotten the time difference and surprised her before she had a chance to get coffee on (which would be no big deal for anyone other than Molly Weasley. Word to the wise: do not rob this woman of the chance to be a good hostess).

I haven't lived at the Burrow since the week after I graduated Hogwarts, and have only been home for a few days at a time. Seems strange that I will be there until I can find a place I call my "own." How do I even go about doing that? In Romania, I built a cabin. Perhaps I could do that here? I'm sure mum would get a hoot out of a miniature cabin for her son to live in, just on the other side of the garden.

Speaking of, mum's none too thrilled about Păcală and Luana taking up residence with the owls.

I feel as if I have been out of the loop for so long. So, what's new, England?

The very same, wow and you remembered my nickname, excellent. I'm surprised the pull of Romania didn't keep you away longer. I'm excellent, just excellent. Not winning as many games as I'd like, but there are other things in life. Or so I've heard, I have no idea, I'm thinking of running off a pier if we don't win soon, but no big deal.

Of course I remembered your nickname. Did you go by other names? I can't remember any.

Romania was excellent. I'd still be there if it weren't for the pressing matters at hand (long story). I've been out of the Quidditch loop the last few weeks, so I'm at loss for the standings.

But that's great! Never doubted you for a minute, mate.
