TREI
Finally took a break from the paperwork to attend my first game back since my return from Romania. And what a game it was! Kenmare v. Portree on the Kenmare pitch. Kenmare was pretty battered down and had two reserves up, but it was quite a game to watch. I wish I could've been up in the air listening to the teams communicate, both with their thick accents.

In the end, Portree pulled out a brilliant win, thanks in part to a slick catch from Dougal McBride. Job well done, mate!

And no offense to Kenmare, but Portree's Keeper is a lot prettier.

Almost makes me wish I would've taken a chance on Pro Quidditch seven years ago. Those dragons were awfully pretty though....

Don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of injuries thanks to dragons. But quidditch is bloody good fun, I feel like I missed out.

I'm sure there's a case of grass being greener, yadda yadda. You do wonder what might have been... hell, I still wonder what might have happened if I'd taken the offer from Heidelberg, or if I'd carried on as a Chaser instead of a Keeper... we're not immune from it either.

Good point. Life is full of what-ifs, it seems.

I'm half a mind to have a little Gryffindor Quidditch Alumni party. I miss you lot, it would be good to see you again.

Such is life, really.

There's a surprising number of us heading out to Australia, especially if you count reserves. Wow, I only just thought of that.
