Dreary winter days getting you down? Need something uplifting and fun and for a good cause? Don't mind breaking out your swim trunks and bikinis from storage and jumping into the cold Atlantic ocean? Then climb aboard the Polar Bear bus tomorrow at 10am for the ride to Coney Island. The Polar Bear Club welcomes any first timers for this dip as we prepare for our trip to Canada.
Definitely bring a pair of surf boots or old sneakers, warm clothes to change into, a towel, and don't forget your camera!
We swim at high noon, on the dot! All donations gathered from participants and observers (there's usually a big crowd) will be given to the Children's Hospital at St. Mary's. The bus leaves at 10am sharp! So if you miss it, I hope you can fly or teleport to Brooklyn and meet us there.
It's going to be a nice and toasty 50 degrees Fahrenheit in Brooklyn with a chance of rain. Consider bringing sunscreen ;)
