Powers: Gabby has never been burned, and heat doesn't bother her. She can create sparks and keep a fire from dying. Also, with deep concentration, she can make flames without help

Physical Description: Gabby is of average height for a young woman and comes to about 5'6". She has deep chestnut hair and soft brown eyes. She is not skinny, but rather shapely, her body formed of soft curves that disguise hard muscles in her 125 lb frame. She has an ecclectic wardrobe and absolutely loves color. Especially orange, red and yellow. (Go figure, huh?) She boasts a set of white, straight teeth, and that coupled with her curvy cheeks makes her very sweet looking.

Personality: Gabby is the type of person who is very friendly and open. She is a very loyal and devoted friend and believes in sticking up for her friends even in extreme situations. Gabby's a goof ball and likes getting herself into trouble. She's a bit of a drama queen and likes attention just as much as the next red-blooded American girl. She has a hard time with authority and usually doesn't learn anything from discipline. She's rowdy and explosive with her antics and seeks out confrontation when bored.

Gabby deals with confrontation pretty well. She isn't calm or cool by any means, and instead usually adds fuel to the fire when she's threatened. (pun intended) She is pretty stubborn and doesn't let things bother her that much, but its all a front. On the inside, Gabby's pretty sensitive, and growing up living with her father made her feel like she had to hide that side of her. However, she has rarely shown that side of her to the people around her. Only a few close friends ever see even a shread of that softness and she likes to keep it that way.

History: Born and raised in Scarlet Oak, Gabby was immersed in a very strange, tense household. In her immediate family, Gabby has each of the elements represented. Because of this, her parent's relationship did not last long past her and her younger brother's birth and they divorced. She now lives with her father, a master air elemental, while her mother and younger brother live together, a master earth elemental and fledgling water elemental respectively. Growing up in a household like this, Gabby got used to embracing things that normal fire elementals wouldn't. Since her younger brother was a water elemental, they constantly clashed and Gabby built up a tolerance to being immersed in water. Heck, she even grew to love swimming and rain storms. Her younger brother is also odd, in that he doesn't freak out when he's close to fire, having learned early on to tolerate it.

Growing up for Gabby was not very hard, despite her clashing family. Since her parents divorced when Gabby was five and her brother George was three, Gabby grew up to be a tom boy. Her mother wasn't a huge part of her life, but Gabby never felt slighted. She played all sorts of sports and developed an affinity for dance. She begged to take lessons, and immersed herself in learning all genres of dance. She is gifted in everything from ballet, to tap, to jazz and ballroom, as well as hip hop and freestyle.

Gabby is currently enrolled at UoM to become a dance instructor and choreographer, with a minor in musical theatre as a dancer. Her passion for life is greatly reflected in any dance she participates in, as well as nearly anything she puts her mind towards.

Since the Light of May: Since Gabby had always known about the existance of magic and elementals, the Light of May wasn't as much of a shock to her. She was a little unnerved to learn that vampires and weres and some of the more nefarious creatures existed, but she didn't feel any strong rejection to the idea. In fact, she frequents the vampire bar Heme to people watch, equally fascinated and disturbed by vampires.

Special Skills/Abilities: Gabby is a natural dancer. She can watch and learn a dance easily and can dance nearly any style with flair. Gabby is also odd in that she absolutely loves ice cream and will actively go outside to be in a thunderstorm. Also, Gabby's fae blood adds an extra oomph to her creativeness and a layer of majesty to her dancing. Also, she picks up on languages really well and is fluent in a few.

Personal Weaknesses:
Temper: Being a fire elemental has its ups and downs. One of these is that Gabby is extremely quick to anger over very small things. This is made worse by her being a drama queen. Thus, issues are drawn out and blown out of proportion more often than not.

Stubborn: Some would potentially see being stubborn as a good trait. However, if Gabby disagrees with someone, she will not budge on the subject. Ever. She stands up for what she believes in, not caring if she hurts people's feelings with the resulting insults or barrage of aggression.

Tom Boy: Most girls are intimidated by Gabby in that she's very rough around the edges. She is also very aggressive when she feels threatened, which does not easily endear her to many people. When attracted to another woman, Gabby is forward and almost as bad with her come ons as most cocky males.

Vulgar: Gabby is as vulgar and fowl-mouthed as any male, and sometimes worse. She enjoys saying things to get reactions out of people, to include her gratuitous use of the word "cunt". She knows she's offensive and she secretly delights in it.

Chaotic: Gabby loves a good fight or confrontation and goes to great lengths to stir up trouble. So far, she's never offended anyone dangerous, but its only a matter of time.

Personal Strengths:
Loyal: If you manage to befriend Gabby (and can tolerate her behavior) she considers you family. And she protects her family. She is a good listener and a good friend, her passion for life making her a very fun-loving person to be around. (On good days.)

Friendly: Gabby is pretty outgoing and friendly when she meets new people. Thus, she has made some lasting friends in town and feels pretty content with her place in life.

Water affinity: Thanks to her kid brother, Gabby is not unnerved by water. In fact, she likes it. She has a swimming pool that she loves to relax in, and has an undying love for ice cream. Some label her as a freak, but she doesn't care. She's content with who she is, and feels like she can enjoy life a bit better than other fire elementals.
