A couple of days ago, I put in my two weeks notice at the magazine. Jeni, I know you're probably sitting there with a blank expression on your face screaming wtf in your head. But I know what I'm doing, okay? And no, it wasn't King's idea. He was actually shocked when I told him I had done it.
Toward the middle of June, I'm supposed to leave for Nova Scotia with Tony's entourage to make sure that all the costumes fit for the start of filming on 'Northanger Abbey.' I'll be in Canada for two weeks. This is assuming that everything goes as scheduled. I honestly don't know if it will because rumor has it that Mrs Navagato is pregnant and one of the leading ladies on the film is as well. Which means that a lot of alterations would be necessary throughout the filming process depending on how far along she is. And .. I don't know.
I'm playing that one by ear since everything is basically finished. Right now, I have to work on the clothing for RUIN, which is also postponed due to pregnancy. Man, I'm seeing a trend here. Is there something in the water .. again?!
Well, whatever. Anyway, I quit my job. I have only two more weeks left as an employee at Elle Magazine, then I'm on my own. It's kind of scary but if everything goes well with the whole costume design thing, I think I might be able to swing that more to my benefit than I would ever have been able to getting coffee and running silly errands for writers every day.
