Ouch.

Private to J & B.
It's really great to be able to sleep in my own bed again. Hospitals still freak me out, even after I've spent so much of my time in the last six years hanging out in them. Sure, the people at Cedars-Sinai were great. And Kingston was right, the doctor who did my surgery was amazing. But it's still nice to be back in my own place, in my own room, in my own bed.

Recovery sucks, though. If I turn a certain way, I feel like I'm going to tear my side open. So, I just won't turn that way. I talked to the people at work and they gave me the next two weeks off .. with pay! So, I'm hoping that I'll be feeling well enough in two weeks to go back to work. Otherwise, I have to take time off unpaid. Which would suck.
End Private.

I'm going to go take a nap.
