So .. this last week has been pretty interesting. I've collected three very major things into my possession. The first thing would be my very first, brand new car. It's a 2009 MazdaSpeed3. My brother co-signed for me because he's absolutely amazing .. and I've never shopped for a car before so I needed someone there to like .. make sure I didn't buy a lemon. And while I never really wanted a car because I'm pro-public transportation, it is definitely safer to have to drive around in at night than waiting around for the bus. Cause, really? There are a lot of very creepy people on the bus.


Second, I got a pair of dog tags from a certain military man/heart surgeon. Very .. middle school, puppy love sort of move. But very cute, too.

Third, and definitely not the least important, I was made legal guardian of King's daughter, Kayla, while he's gone. And where is he? Well, I have no idea. But his 10 month old daughter is sitting about three feet from me right now.

Have I mentioned that I've never even babysat before? Trying to change her diaper the first time was CRAZY! Not to mention bath time. I was so scared that I wasn't going to have the water the right temperature and the poor kid would get burnt or freeze to death. Poor kid is going to be scarred for life after all of this. Seriously.
