Syd(ney) Barrett ([info]_donttouch) wrote,
To be fair, it was asking one person to take on the abilities of about five people. There were others who could barely handle the one. Sometimes she was unsure whether she could handle her one. But she was trying; they both were. And that was really all they could do.

Still, funnest times, already being worked through on the back burner while she was grinning at the very clever comeback. "You shut up." She joked before making a noise of agreement.

"I thought I-you was going to be put in one too." But details. "Did you ever go in a bouncy house?" Which is what padded rooms reminded her of. "And I hope she doesn't mind a few of them popping or whatever." And sure, Rudy had control -- Kerry had control too -- but it was like driving someone else's car. The basics were there, but there were always specifics and quirks. So pillows for safety. Safety first!

"That both makes sense and is kind of cool. Like thumbprints." She wondered what she sounded like, like how your recorded voice or telephone voice never sounded exactly how you think you sound.

“Nah, though the movie might be added to the list for later.” People found solace in different things for different reasons. Though it was amusing to be asked if she wanted to recreate any scenes. “Sure, if you can think of an awful person to ‘haunt.’ The kid had a tendency to lean toward intelligent vengeance.” Selfish at first, considering her awful parents, and then righteous vengeance to the Trunchbull. Laser-guided spitefulness. She paused, thinking about it with a small grin.

“I might recreate something from Harry Potter, though. Wingardium Leviosa.” Fake British Tea and Crumpets style attempted as her free hand moved like she had a wand in it even as she saw Cary cruise in. Full house. She glanced over at David curiously, then opened the door and slipped in with him as well.
