Syd(ney) Barrett ([info]_donttouch) wrote,
Looking up from the overall watching she was doing, Syd knit her eyebrows at the full-blown accent and -- hey. Telepaths and their trickiness. Amused by it, she made a motion as to say true in regards to being overwhelmed.

"Yeah, I try to be aware of my surroundings." She replied dryly. That was sort of an understatement and a half, though. Syd looked around, remembering that feeling of all eyes on her and nerves. "I'm not used to being the center of attention much, either." And, in this case, she seemed to be very much the center of attention in one way or another.

"As great as all eyes on me is, I'm more trying to figure out how to reverse it. We tried just a little bit ago," her head motioned to David, "With just Cary and Kerry, but it was still no go." She paused, taking her eyes away from everyone staring at past-her. "It was only once, but you know."

"Why were you watching both of us?" Curiosity would one day kill her, but not today.
