007 - Frustration
I went for a long jog this morning and happened by way of the London Fencing Club. Couldn't be happier to have found it, and I immediately changed my plans for the day so that I could spend the morning fencing. Boy, did I ever need it.

Thank Merlin for muscle memory. I'm not as slow or sloppy as I thought I'd be, but I'm definitely not top form, either. It was difficult to keep up with lessons while at Hogwarts, but I did practice ~~here and there while in Russia.~~ My fencing partner was ten years my junior and really gave me a run for my money. I kept up rather well in foil and epee, but he definitely had the edge when we got to sabre. It was a long and exhausting session, and I didn't realize how much I needed to get my frustrations out.

I'm going to have bruises for weeks.

I doubt it. He has changed significantly since we were childhood best friends, and although he welcomed me back from being on the run with open arms, there was a very quick turn around in which he seemed to become... obsessively paranoid. I'm not sure how to phrase that more politely.

I grew up as a muggle, and my father and brother were both quite athletic. Before I went to Hogwarts, fencing was a past time that I shared with them. If you'd like, I could teach you in exchange for your help with my animagus studies.

	I'm sorry to hear that, but I hope that perhaps the rift will not be permanent after all. It's a difficult thing to not be able to talk to your closest friends. ~~I should know-~~ That would be brilliant, actually.
