13 - Relief
I couldn't be happier to pick up a copy of the Prophet this morning to see that Susan Bones's kidnapper has been caught. What a relief. And such an unsavory character as Rodolphus Lestrange? It is a relief to know that he is in Azkaban, kept at bay.

In other news, my most heart-felt congratulations goes out to the Potter family for the birth of their newest addition to the family!

[John]
I saw that you were one of the Aurors to make the arrest. Congratulations. Are you alright?

[Glenda]
Currently, I'm looking into two departments: The International Magical Trading Standards Body, and I am also sending an inquiry to the Improper Use of Magic office, regarding animagus training. But, seeing as how there is only a handful of registered animagi this century alone, I can't imagine that there is very high demand for a tutor. What do you think? Should I be looking other places?

Well, you never know. It always surprises me that there aren't more people seeking that sort of thing out. It sounds like very exciting and useful magic, although I can certainly see why it's so strictly regulated for those that manage it. It certainly isn't doing any harm to see what they might have a use for right now.

Although the Trading Standards Body does seem like it could be more immediately practical. Especially with your knowledge abroad and foreign language skills. It might even afford more opportunities for travel, if you wanted it?

I'll try to think of some more ideas, but I think that you're certainly off to a marvelous start.

I saw that you're thinking of going to the Charity Ball this weekend? I hope you will - those things can be a lot less stuffy than you might think.

Well, I would love to help people learn, if there's a market for it. We'll see.

I figured with the Trading Standards, I could also look into importing various foreign spirits and wines, and perhaps eventually open that store I mentioned.

I wasn't thinking of going, actually. Myself in a dress is totally laughable. I'll probably just donate.

You should always do what you love, if you can.

That's a very wise idea. If that were the case, you could use the Ministry position as a means of slowly saving up some startup capital, as well. Even if the store isn't an immediate possibility, you'd be able to form useful connections while preparing a bit better financially. And people will always be mad for imported booze, so it's not as though the market will dry up.

Oh, that's a shame. Dresses are never laughable! I hope to see you soon, another time, then.

I'm thinking that it is the best option. And perhaps I can be added to some sort of database in case a tutor for that sort of thing is ever needed.

Dresses are most definitely laughable. On me.

I'm sure they must have something like that. It's such a rare skill, it really only serves their interests to know who might be available to offer some capable help on that front.

Tosh. I don't believe that on bit.

It seems likely. At least, I'll give it a shot.

You would if you saw it!

Let me know how it's going! I'm interested to see where this goes for you.

There's a dress out there for everyone. Even some men.

I will, thanks.

I think some men would look better in dresses than I would.

You're welcome. Everyone deserves to be happy with what they do for a living.

Not that he looks better in one, necessarily, but David Bowie does pull the look off remarkably well. The Muggle musician, you know.
