I don't know if any of the suggested clubs are for me, but I'm determined to do some sort of non-school activities this year. Professor Flitwick has let me start practising the piano during choir rehearsals, and at the weekend I'm going to spend more time outdoors, even if it's just studying when the weather's good. Might go jogging or do yoga or something similar... I find the fresh air helps me concentrate.

I don't know if any are for me either. I'm going to tutor though.

I would consider it, but I know certain student groups would avoid me like a bargepole.

Rather stupid considering.

Well, I must say that makes a refreshing change to hear that.

Why don't you start some sort of outdoors club then?

If I can think of something that people might enjoy, I'll consider it, I think.

What about a running club? Or one for yoga?

Do you enjoy running? I always think I do and then I get out there and pretty much want to die until it's over with, even though I know I should keep at it.

It's not so much that I enjoy it, but I push myself to do it because I enjoy the rewards, if that makes sense.

Fresh air makes everything better. I wish we could have more of our classes outside.

My brother said that last summer one of his tutors refused to teach in the lecture theatre, so they all used to go and chat about the subject matter out by the river and take a flask of tea with them. I was ever so jealous.

I find it drives out my other thoughts so I can concentrate, really. The breathing patterns and so on.

It could be good, what about the language clubs? I also mentioned a Politics tutoring club or something like that?

I'm not really sure about the languages. It's something I enjoy, but for the basic learning and things, I prefer to do that on my own. Some sort of like minded gathering for practice could be fun, I suppose...

It could, I suppose going along to see what it is like might be worth it.
