PERSONALITY
Emilia is a positive person. Optimistic? Sure, but realistically so. To her, there are always at least two sides to everything, and whenever possible, she will go for the most positive one.
While Emilia loves her job and everything about it, she values her off time as well. She loves, she dates, she dances, she models, she drinks, she loves food and sometimes she plays the guitar. She lives her life and enjoys the people and beings that graces it.
APPEARANCE
Height: 5’7’’Build: Slender
Hair: Blonde

The first thing you notice: Some people notice her eyes first, maybe even giving them the feeling that she's trying to look inside their mind. She isn't, really. It's just genetics. Other people notice her hair, which takes a lot of effort to tame.
HISTORY

She had a happy childhood, with loving parents, daily tutoring sessions – in anything from daily life over advanced academics and magic practices – and high ambitions. Although her parents only wanted the best for their children, there was never any pressure from them, no, the ambitions were all Emilia's own.
Given Aloysius' high standards when it came to training and education, he was put in charge of the children's homeschooling. Emilia loved the Djinn, and though she was never quite sure how it all worked, she never thought him peculiar at all. The bliss and joy lasted until Matthew suffered a heart attack and never came home from work. Emilia was 10. Honoring Matthew's promise to Aloysius, he was given his lamp back, and though he left the Vipond house, he kept in close contact with them.
Emilia kept up the hard work in school, more often than not referring to Aloysius over the phone than to the new tutor her mother had hired. It was the best alternative to the way it had been. In school she found herself drawn to human biology, physiology and anatomy, while her tutored sessions in magic at home showed her favoring the creation of potions and tinctures. But above all, her drive was to help people.
Her father had died from a heart attack, and when Emilia planned for the future, she saw herself as a cardiologist. That was her goal all the way through Pre-Med at UW, and also when she applied for, and was accepted at Columbia University in New York. Though her family had the means to provide for her while she was there, Emilia's stubborn independence made her determine to prove that she could make it on her own. At first, money was tight, but as she found her footing, her tight schedule opened up for a (very) part time job that could help supply her income: modelling.
Emilia thrived at Columbia, learning, evolving, developing, so it was no surprise to anyone when after her first two years, she was excited to start her clinical rotations. What did come as a surprise, to Emilia at least, was that her OB/GYN rotation changed her view on cardiology completely. Sure, cardiology was interesting, and you could earn respect saving the lives of people with heart problems – though usually it tended to be people who didn’t take care of themselves in the first place – but as an OB/GYN she would be there when life began, when families were made, and not much happened in that place that wasn’t truly life changing, in both good and bad ways.
In 1997 she relocated to Westchester, NY, where she had matched for her OB/GYN residency at White Plains Hospital. Along with the relocation, came an actual salary – and that to a level where she could live more than comfortably solely on that. But she had come to like modelling, and so she continued, as a hobby… that she got paid for. It was a nice way to disconnect from work, even though she did love doing what she did. She shared an apartment with three of her fellow residents, and that was… it was alright, but also pretty cramped and privacy was more or less nonexistent, just like the boundaries between work-life and home-life began to blur. But, four years, Emilia reminded herself. It would only be four years and then she would be able to find and afford her own place.
It didn’t take four years, though. In early 2000, Dr Elliott, the head of OB/GYN at White Plains, found Emilia eating lunch in the supply closet – she just needed a break from the same people she had eaten breakfast with for the past years. Just one break. Dr. Elliott glanced at Emilia over her glasses and laughed before she left Emilia to her spinach. That same evening, Emilia was called into Dr. Elliott’s office. Rather than face reprimands for eating in the supply closet, she was offered the key to Dr. Elliott’s trailer on a small plot of land by Lake Heureux. She hadn’t used it for years, but had a feeling that Emilia might need the change of scenery, and if she happened to stay in the area after her residency, well, then she wasn’t opposed to selling it to her.
