Well then. Three's company, isn't it?

I figure it's finally time to let you all know, James and I are going to have a baby.

So, future Aunts and Uncles, eat your hearts out!

I’m certainly looking forward to it. Have you discussed names, or am I getting ahead of myself?

Elvendork. Definitely Elvendork.

It's popular opinion now, Remus. Simply the best name, bar none. I wish my parents had been thoughtful enough to name me Elvendork.

It isn’t popular opinion when Lily, Peter (I’m sure), and myself all oppose the name. Would you have me call you that from now on?

I keep telling you it's a brilliant name. If I didn't already have an excellent nickname, I'd take it on.

It could serve as a circumstantial nickname. One for special occasions?

Because I don't want it to name my child that. End of story.

Lil, you've got to appreciate the brilliance of that name. It means a lot to your future child's father and uncle, so it's worth some serious consideration.

Serious consideration. Hmm. Sirius is an excellent name as well.

I appreciate the fact that I've got more sense than using the name Elvendork.

Not happening.

Elvendork doesn't take sense, it takes creative genius and a bold nature.

Why not?

Still no.

I just don't want to use those names, Sirius. Any other suggestions?

Yes! It's unisex! Smashing taste in names you've got, Prongs.

That or Sirius. If you want something more unique.

Come on Padfoot, if we start naming kids after stars people'll think we've turned into the Blacks.

Won't work if it's a girl, though. 'Siria' sounds like we thought our daughter should be named after a country we couldn't spell.

It's going to bring quite the change around here, but it's going to be wonderful. And not yet, though I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about names quite a bit.
