She is a very hysterical woman, the maid is. Lucifer had no idea her voice could go that high or reach that volume. Perhaps that's what has saved her from being torn to pieces by the 'invisible monsters', though. Funny she can't see them. On the other hand, taking all the vacant space in her skull into consideration, it is not too surprising.
The woman is still screaming into the phone when he arrives on the crime scene. It looks like a battlefield. Lucifer does not believe in the hands-on approach but in this case he does not have any other choice. Grabbing Leviathan by the collar of his torn clothes, the Morningstar yanks the Gatekeeper off the Archangel to prevent further mangling of his guest.
"Down!" he says to the hounds and to Leviathan, "Stay!"
Blood and feathers everywhere - ah, doesn't that bring back old memories?
The touch of the Fallen is usually not soothing and does not bring relief from pain and does not heal; but just because they no longer pursue those goals does not mean they are incapable of stopping a body from bleeding out - it's not that hard, really.
"Come, and tell me: what brings you here, Leviathan?" the Lightbringer asks, a hint of exasperation in his voice, as he picks the angel up and carries him towards the bedroom.
