Now that you've appeared to have gotten some answers, what do you think of our dear compound?

I find it to be very interesting. What do you think of it?

Oh I am very fond. They appear to have magic well beyond my years and I find that fascinating.

As do I. It is something worth looking into.

I am from 2024 and the technology astounds even me. I can't imagine what it is like for someone before the dawn of the computer age. What year are you from?

My name is Ian.

I come from before the 20th century.

Pleased to meet you, Ian.

Now, see, I find that fascinating. I am quite the fan of History and I have always found personal recollections to be far more informative than textbooks. What was your time like? You a member of the Durmstrang Institute, are you not?

And you, Ma'am.

It was nothing like this. The [...] technology you spoke of that is present here certainly did not exist. I am in awe at the simplest of things. I did attend Durmstrang, yes.

I find that very hard to believe. I believe, perhaps, you are in awe of the greater things. But simplest? No. Are you still in school? I have been out of school for sometime so to find myself forced back into courses and the life of a student has been a tad difficult, even though I savior opportunities to learn. I prefer doing so on my own time.

They seem simple from this perspective. The lighting is more astounding than the compound as a whole, though the latter offers much more to question and think over. I was forced to leave school before my proper time. I find Hogwarts to be an interesting alternative.

I suppose that is true. Sometimes I take things for granted. And I am sorry to hear that. I did not want to assume you were from that timeline. Have people discussed with you the alternate worlds and events?

I have read the pamphlet and understood it well enough. I do not think that me being forced out of Durmstrang restricts me to just one timeline, however. Given the nature of these worlds, there is the possibility of an endless number of them, is there not? I may not even know which world I come from.

You are quite correct. However, there are timelines, or the possibility of timelines, were such an event does not occur. Every action has the possibility for another reaction.

Endless possibilities. I like it.

It is one of the greatest notions to contemplate here.
