	Most people seem to feel otherwise. I'm sorry. My dad died. I'm just lucky Mum made it back. You don't? I think everyone in our world has one who has magic, only I guess they might not. Most of the people I know are living in secret in the muggle world. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Most parents died when the plague hit. My sister and I were raised by our house elves until the slavers came for us. Which sounds terribly depressing when I talk about it.

No, they died before we were old enough. Mother would tell me stories of magic though. When I was old enough I would get my wand and go to school and learn all these wonderful things. I can do a little bit of wandless magic, just from practicing. I bought a book about it in the market a long time ago. I can only do very basic spells, and then not very reliably.

	It's the norm in my world. I miss them, but I don't remember much. I used to have a picture of them in my bedroom at home, but it was left behind when we were taken.
