Thank you to all my well wishers, I've quite enjoyed the flurry of owls at my window bringing congratulations from friends and family, near and far. But I do wish our country's journalists would think of consulting the subjects of their articles themselves rather than relying on gossip and hearsay. Isn't it interesting how they always somehow cleverly manage to find an unnamed source? One who is willing to add just the right infusion of creativity and dramatic flair to what would otherwise be a staid news item?

But no mind, it would be foolish to tarnish such sunny days with anything other than agreeable thoughts.

It is entirely likely that any decision I make will never be for your sake. This is merely incentive for you to accept things as they will be without complaint. And, I assure you, I am hardly doing this simply to frustrate my mother's plans.

Whether you want to be or not, you will be.

There are other ways to secure the throne and ensure the stability of the country.
