Thank you to all my well wishers, I've quite enjoyed the flurry of owls at my window bringing congratulations from friends and family, near and far. But I do wish our country's journalists would think of consulting the subjects of their articles themselves rather than relying on gossip and hearsay. Isn't it interesting how they always somehow cleverly manage to find an unnamed source? One who is willing to add just the right infusion of creativity and dramatic flair to what would otherwise be a staid news item?

But no mind, it would be foolish to tarnish such sunny days with anything other than agreeable thoughts.

That is my exact mantra! How well we understand one another. I'm surprised actually that the article bothered me as much as it did. I must have a lot on my mind, I seem to be struggling to find my usual equanimity.

Now that is truly intriguing news. I hope your father fully understands what his daughter deserves.

It's because you and I were both brought up properly, darling - we know ourselves in a way that sad little journalists do not. As for your worries, it's natural to be a little sensitive in the run up to your wedding day. It is the biggest day of one's life, after all. You will be back to your usual self before too long, I am certain.

Naturally I am hoping for as high a match as possible, but what girl doesn't?

You are so right, I forgot at times how invaluable your advice is. I should focus my energies in the proper direction. Namely, picking a gown. Unless the Daily Prophet has ideas for that too.

You will only have the very best, I'm absolutely certain. I only wish I had a brother who might deserve you. I would have enjoyed us being sisters-in-law.

I'm terribly looking forward to seeing the gown you have chosen. It will be interesting to see what others wear, of course, but there is something especially lovely about a well chosen bridal outfit.

Oh! Daphne, I'm so very touched to read that. It would of course have been wonderful wouldn't it? Instead, we both come from two girl families. Different circumstances, of course, but still.

I hope so! I suppose it will have to be white, but i'm hoping to appear more of a future princess and less of a human cupcake in too many frills and layers.

It really is unfortunate. I would have loved to play matchmaker for you. I wish I was at least marrying into a bigger family, but it seems it's not to be.

I have every faith that you will choose something that will have the other society girls simply green with envy, darling. That has to be a rather large perk of being a princess.

It's such a pity that the Blacks and Malfoys don't have more eligible children. It really reduces the pool of options.

I hope so! I feel I am dreadfully behind in choosing though. There have been... other matters to deal with than sartorial ones.

The pool is shamefully lacking. I wonder sometimes if other countries are any better. Perhaps we girls all should have followed my Uncle Lysander's example and attended Durmstrang.

Planning it all must make you terribly busy. How are you coping?

My father did consider Beauxbatons for Hestia and I. I suppose the idea was to have appeared fresh and interesting compared to local girls.
