Decorating my apartment
Now that my kitchen and bathroom are done, I'm turning my attention to the hallway, so today I spent some time window shopping (except it was online, so window surfing?).

I never set out to to buy white stuff, but the only sideboard/hallway table I could find that I really loved was this one:

And then today, I was on the hunt for linen storage (my previous linen wardrobe was built-in and became a casualty of the recent remodel. I didn't mind in the least since it looked horrible, but I've been making due with keeping my bed linens and towels in the livingroom bookcase - where I have tons of empty drawers since I threw out all my VHS tapes - and I don't really want them there) and I've been thinking about buying a Chinese lacquer cabinet of some sort and this one became my absolute favorite:




So now I'm pretty much set on a black and white hallway. Mostly white with black accents and maybe using flowers for a splash of color? (I'm already buying roses pretty regularly, because they look awesome on the new hallway table. Especially shocking pink ones.)
