Running around dressed up like zombies. How dignified and worthy of an Ivy League Institution. There are times I wonder about the youth of today.

[Maggie]

What are your plans for this weekend?

[Nadia]

We spend less time together now, than when we were living eight thousand miles apart. This should change.

The job of a daughter?

As distasteful as you might think it, she and whatever planning committee those ridiculous organizations have, did a good job. Relatively speaking.

Yes, it is the job of a daughter to roll her eyes at her father. She can be quite adept at it.

The planning organizations, which were under her lead I'm sure, did an excellent job, regardless of my opinion of the theme.

The apartment will be yours Saturday night. I'm going into New York to have dinner with a co-worker.

Don't tell me you were there Josh.

To myself hmmm? I suppose Taylor and I can malign you on your own couch for an evening.

You would have noticed me, I'm sure. Unless, of course, you were too busy making eyes at your undead lover at the time.

Why don't you malign her couch instead? Her apartment is perfectly lonely as well.

Undead lover... Lovely Josh. For the record I was drunk. Had to be to spend an entire evening dealing with Greeks.

Would you rather I do other things on your couch? I do believe Taylor might like you more than the other option.

For the record, I'm a Greek.

Hmm. I do believe it is time to invest in some form of surveillance for my apartment. You know, for security purposes.

And I never drink with you? You walked into that Josh.

Oh for security, of course. There is far too much blackmail material possible with that.

And here I thought you were usually drinking because of me, not with me.

And just whom would I be blackmailing here, Eliina? Would you be doing something I wouldn't approve of? Much like you and Mr. Atkins in class this afternoon?

I wouldn't say usually. There are other things that reach the top of my need to drink list.

There are things you don't approve of? I was unaware that existed. I also have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh, some of these things you'll just have to tell me about.

There are many things I disapprove of. We just have a difference of opinion on many of them.

Right. You forget, I'm quite familiar with your facial expressions during certain activities.

I could start with my roommate and pantyhose.

Let me guess, you disapprove of prudish women?

....

The notes I took are still better than 2/3rds of the class.

Like your roommate would serve any other purpose to me.

I disapprove of anyone who is unwilling to enjoy life.

They would have had to have been. Mr. Atkins' notes would've have been shit. He is, after all, not left handed.

It's the whining over her child that drives me to drinking not whatever you may or may not do with her. Though I would have to question your taste.

Hmm.

I don't think he was too concerned with the topic at hand. Or maybe it was the topic at hand.

Am I in trouble Josh?

My taste is simple. Someone I can do whatever I wish to, without having to worry if I'll ruin any of my plans at a later date. I have been rather vanilla with you, my dear.

For that crack, you are getting a make up assignment that I am not sharing with the class.

This time, no. Next time, the show will not be at all private, and you won't get to stop until I say so.

And I'm quite alright with vanilla when the flavor is being chosen for me.

You really want to watch that again? I'm not sure Jack will be so willing. But I can try. Unless that's no what you meant by make up assignment in which case be more specific.

I'll remember that.

And what flavor would you choose for yourself?

Oh yes, are you sure you want to make that offer? I can ensure little Atkins plays along. Though I'm not sure I would just watch.

But, one night this week, you'll be the show. Fingers, toys, whatever you wish. But I will get a show.

French Vanilla. I have no idea Josh. I have no idea what "flavors" correlate to what.

Excuse me. There is coffee on my poor phone now.

I don't spen my money on things like that. Or your money for that matter. Fine though. You were specific. Is this something I can put in my calendar or do you prefer a surprise?

You just tell me what you want to do and we do it.

Swallow, don't spit. It's rude.

Surprise me. But plan on staying the night.

I don't think it's quite that easy.

It's also rude when a girl isn't given any warning.

I suppose I have time to run into the city and make another purchase in that case.

It actually is. The complicated part comes from not wanting to either tell me, or admit what you might like. I have been very tame with you, Eliina, because you're more useful to me behind a desk than on your back. But that doesn't mean those thoughts don't cross my mind.

And here I thought most girls liked surprises, especially surprises that just keep on giving.

Oh, going to buy something specifically for the moment?
