One of my patients suggested I needed a pet, and after thinking about it for awhile, I realized they were right. Coming home to empty air is well, a bit depressing and I've even recommended people get pets to help elvate moods and form a companionship. Figured, I should take my own advice.

I had gotten some pretty ridiculous suggestions of a cow or at one point, a peacock, but considering I live in an apartment in New York and I'm fairly certain it's illegal to own a peacock, I went with the boring choice of a cat.

This is Jove and I may have lost my heart to him when I went to the humane society and picked him up.

	Thank you. What will be the cost to get in? I'll try to make sure that I keep my schedule somewhat clear to make it. I have met with Zeus, it made things a bit easier. What sort of roadtrip? 	I'm worried about being able to take care of him, I'm not home very often, but it was suggested that cats were pretty independent creatures and that may work out best. 	That's why I couldn't do it. By the time I get home from a long shift at the hospital I'm lucky if I manage to undress properly before I fall asleep, never mind feed and look after a cat.
