Use it or lose it.

That was my commanding officer's reason for drilling us from sun up to sun down. We all hated him for it of course but when it came down to it if he hadn't pushed us we wouldn't know how to survive.

Sounds about right. And Barristan's been saying pretty much the same thing to me re: my sword fighting skills.

In fact, if you're feeling nostalgic, how about you and I penciling in a training session? Could use the distraction from dealing with politicians 24/7.

Excellent. I'm in Camelot for a week, so I'll come find you.

Apparently he thinks my sword fighting skills have gotten 'rusty'. Well gee, they don't exactly use swords and armour in the Middle East.
