Hard to believe that Christmas is a mere eleven weeks and some days away. I expect business will start to pick up. Families seem keen on doing their group photos around the holidays. Must be all the seasonal cheer. I envy them sometimes. Being alone isn't always easy. I'll be setting up an in-studio shoot to accommodate the extra demand. If last year was any indication, I may have to take on a temp to get everything done. In the meantime, I'll be making use of my free hours by relaxing and getting out a bit. Might have to make a trip or two into the countryside once the leaves start turning.

Was up around Baslow Edge in Derbyshire today for a wedding. The event photos are turning out perfectly, but I stuck around after and got some shots of the countryside. The light was spectacular and the views! Oh, see for yourself:
