Its quite humiliating something when you have to be told to go home by your bosses.  Especially if they take away your favourite quill, blotter and tell you not to come in until Thursday.

I wish I'd thought to copy the last of my research. I don't know what I'll do with all this time.

Its great fun though ; I get paid to study Charms, Arithmancy and Old buildings.

I suppose its sort of like crafting a song - or how I'd imagine it would be - lots of ideas gelling together and then having an end product which is something completly independant and ..personal.

If that makes any sense?

It's definitely an advantage to get paid to do something you actually look forward to.

It does make sense. There's a lot that goes into it, and it usually takes a really long time to get it exactly right. Changing even a small element of it can make an entirely different finished product. At least, if you're doing it right. I don't think a lot of people really get that about it.

Sometimes though, going into work when you enjoy it so much feels like cheating.

I don't know much about song crafting ; its always struck me as something like charm crafting. A lot of work and requiring a certain creativity. Organisation I have in plenty, creativity? Not so much.
