My parents called me this morning. Helen has apparently managed to get her hands on a copy of yesterdays Prophet and wanted to discuss why my name was in the paper. Again.

Being known as Olivers friend and someone who can cook well is certainly a step up from Weird Sisters Girlfriend.

Mum pointed out that I have to think about more than myself. I'm a Professor now - and from what I remember in school, the Professors don't have lives. It still baffles my mind to imagine Professor Snape - Headmaster Snape - leaving the building. And I'm going to become a fully fledged Professor this autumn. Filius trusted me with the ability to take over from him and I'm not going to let him down.

So. I am going to make a list. Of things I am not going to do.

• I am not going to have my name in any newspaper unless it is related to my work.
• Discussing my boyfriends sex life is off limits
• Discussing my boyfriends friends sex/love lives is a definite no no.
• I will not eat my weight in ice cream. Whilst wearing fleece pyjamas with the dogs snoring on the couch. Just because Orsinos' not at home doesn't give me the right to turn into a wallower.And I need to wash my hair otherwise it becomes a hazard
• Anything remotely personal or that could in any way impinge my career should be warded.
• Teasing Don is off limits.
• No matter how much fun it is.
• I will have the courage to send off that essay on Strictly Equicontinuous Subsets of the Space of Bochner Wards
