I have never actually considered buying a Quidditch team. It seems like it might make a good investment, provided to the team did well. My interest has, instead, been behind the scenes.

Every year for the Quidditch Cup Final, there are a fair number of merchants who have interest in selling their products - food, team merchandise, memorabilia, camping supplies, and so on. Oftentimes these merchants aren't prepared for such a large event financially, which allows for an investment. I loan a fair amount of money to a merchant so that they might produce their products in time for the Finals, and collect a tidy percentage of the profit upon turnaround. It is quite a rewarding adventure, although one might say it is a bit like gambling. I only benefit if the merchant does well. So, I try to make sure that I do my part in assuring that the merchants succeed.

If you're attending the Finals this weekend, do stop by Lady Liza's Loot for a souvenir. Her team jerseys are all the rage this year.

Do you and your lovely family have plans to attend the game? I might have a few extra passes available, if you are interested.

Oh please. I have just enough to get by.

And I don't know about that, though I'm sure you're quite amazing. Stop it, you were adorably plump, and you lost the baby fat didn't you? Handsome as ever, aren't you?

Never understand how you don't have a nice wife by now...

Believe me, you have more than enough.

Please. Frank may be skilled with utensils, but he lacks my pallet.

Alice, you are the only woman to have ever called me handsome, that is for sure. Handsome by comparison to a cow, perhaps. The day I have a wife will be the day pigs fly.

Flatterer.

I wouldn't argue it. I'll let either of my favorite men in my life make me food without complaint, so long as I'm not forced to make meals for myself. That business trip he went on and I ate nothing by cold cereal and take out for a week was terrible.

I just don't understand it. You're lovely, Peter. Surely some nice woman will see that. You can cook, you're kind, you're generous. What more could someone want?
