If you stay by my side we can rule the world
Since witches have started losing their magic, everything seems to be deteriorating faster and faster. Instead of focussing on it since I lost my magic as well but can't admit to it, Draco has taken me on as his secretary for the next little while. It's been a lot of fun actually, everyone at the Ministry is so nice, and he really is a very nice boss (to me, at least):D

Also, our one year is coming up on the 3rd! I can't believe it! It's been such a lovely year, and just in time, the renovations we've had done to our Master Bedroom suite are finally completed! It took months to plan and supervise, but the finished result is quite nice:

The bedroom part of our suite. I have a really lovely dressing area as well furthur down into the room, as well as my collection of the sweetest plush animals.

The sitting area of the suite. We always spend sunday mornings lounging here.

And our tiny breakfast nook when we're too lazy to go downstairs.

The closets were already done before our honeymoon finished. All that's left is turning that archaic 'wife's bedroom' adjoining the suite into a writing room for me since we obviously don't need the whole seperate bedroom idea.

If any of you would like the names of some of our contractors and suppliers, just let me know, they really are lovely! Completely different from those horrid people who did our kitchens.

Do let me in on how everyone has been! Between work and the renovations I've barely had time to catch up with everyone.

1. Don't tell people I'm a "nice boss," I want my employees to fear me, not love me.
2. Careful with the pictures-- people can create a rough blueprint of our quarters and use it to their advantage.

Yes, darling, I've had a nice day, thanks for asking.

1. I edited it, happy? And I'm afraid your policy is ruined, as I'm an employee and I love you to tiny little bits.

2. That's why I only put a few, with no doors shown. What sort of advantage would it give them, though?

1. No, not happy. Might be happy to see you tonight. Might be too busy staying at work late to undo your damage.
2. They would know what sort of objects they had to work with to plant dangerous traps. Instead of just general assumptions of bed, couch, &c., they would have rough dimensions and the like.

1. What can I do to change that might? I promise: A massage, a kiss and some edible underwear you haven't yet seen. Don't worry, the worst of the damage is that your other employees will expect hugs and think tears can get them out of any trouble. That's not so bad, is it?

2. That's why I didn't take pictures of the full rooms! Oi, Draco, sometimes you make me feel as if I can't do anything right.

Come home now?

Bubbly as ever, eh, Parvati? It's more like you to be this way than tense like you were before.

I prefer peppy, Roger! I'm still tense, but I'm learning to push it away as I think my husband may think me some crazy anxiety ridden woman. Though I maintain anger at the Pureblood Manual for Wives, chapter 12 and I ripped out a few pages to make myself feel better. :)

You should try reading The Science of the Broom. It's good right before bed.

Er, well...broomsticks aren't really my thing. I prefer nice stories, any recommendations on those?

Just a question......how do you hold it.....

All of it looks lovely (both in the pictures and when you gave me the grand tour). You'll have to help me decorate the flat once I've finished moving in. Merlin, who knew I had so much stuff to bring with me? I think I need a third bookcase for all my reading materials...

Well of course I will - did Father bend and give you money for the new place?

You and your giant tomes, we can get some lovely bookcases made for you. Perhaps charmed so they have three sides so you can store all the more books in them.

Very reluctantly. I managed to persuade him by agreeing to do dinners with them twice a week so they can be sure I'm not starving/generally am doing well.

Oh that sounds lovely! Or perhaps I can figure a way to charm the ones I have right now. There has to be something useful in my old school books that could fix this problem, yeah?

Yay! I knew Daddy would pull through! I'll go back to call him that then, and not Father, now that he's proved himself.

I know a couple of charms actually, but that's useless to me, as you'd know. I'll teach them to you when I see you tommorrow.

You do? Wonderful. As long as you have the proper wand movements I/we should be able to figure it out.

By the by, you haven't gotten rid of your bottle of champagne from the luncheon, have you?

Yes, wand movements, at best. Sigh.

I know, I've heard this rumor. It was long ago taken away. :/

You're going to get your magic back, I promise that. We've been working very hard at finding a curse for this. You won't be without it forever, so chin up! It shouldn't be too much longer before you can go back to taking care of magic stuff on your own.

bollocks Right. Well, if you know of anyone who may still have theirs, can you get it directly to me? Hermione and I ma be onto something but we need at least two, if not more, bottles to test out our theory.

Dina, don't you remember the curfew for witches that's in place? We couldn't possibly attempt to break that.

I'm bringing wallpaper samples! Mwahaha.

Obviously sleepover at my house-- shaken Tanqueray 10's. Your husband will just have to pine for you for a night!

And I will throw you into a fire if you do.

I know it sounds silly, Dina, but you know I haven't yet spent a night away from Draco - can we sleepover here, maybe? I can provide you with drinks, food and we can play pranks on Draco :)

Alright then, tiling samples.
