The Grand Opening event here at D&B Youth Center was amazing! Thanks to everyone who attended and to all the people who put their hard work and efforts into making the event, and the weekend, a success. And now on to the stuff I'm sure you really want to hear about...

We had a drawing for prizes over the course of the weekend that all those who dropped by were entered to win. Our winners are as follows:

Youth Drawing
Custom Designed Skateboard - Jace London
Customized Bike - Victoria Forrester
Complete Paintball Bit - Marissa Andel

Adult Drawing
Dinner for 2 at Nunziato's Kucina - Molly Wilson
A one-night stay at Lakewood Shores B&B - Maeve Ryan
A weekend getaway at Ocean House Resort - Lily Moriarty

Feel free to drop by any time during regular business hours to claim your prizes!

Again, the first weekend was great. I hope that we can keep up the pace. If there's something that you would like to see at D&B that isn't there yet, let me know! We want to make this a place where all youth can come and spend time with their friends doing things that they enjoy.

If you want, I can come offer lessons in guitar and bass before the music performances on Fridays. I can also maybe hop on stage once or twice in the future? I've been playing since I was three, so I'm not terrible...

Sure! Come on by. I'm sure a lot of the kids would love that.
