Audrey,

I’ll cut straight to it. I would like to propose an alliance between the two of us.

I have come to believe that of all of us up here, you and I are the ones least in need of the prize money. If I am wrong then perhaps I’ve done myself a great disservice in revealing this to you, but truly, I do not think I am. There are telltale signs in each of us that I don’t think the others have recognized, but our chances of being revealed will be greatly elevated once we merge tomorrow. If I am right, and you and I both come from a, shall I say, slightly more comfortable background than the rest, I feel this could put targets on both our backs with the others. Coming in I had hoped for all of Experiment B to work as a more singular unit, but I find it clear that’s not the case. Should Experiment B turn against each other, I feel our odds would be better together.

The terms of an alliance as I propose it are loose, and open for debate. We would agree to never sell out the other, and help each other in our own tasks and marks if desired. Additional players could be brought into the alliance if we were both agreed – I myself am completely open to this idea, but I don’t mind admitting you are my first choice.

If you are agreeable, I would suggest we discuss terms here, or perhaps sometime after the merge – outside, and as far away from the cameras as we can manage.

I hope I have made the right decision, and that I will hear from you soon.

I'll admit, you're not far off the mark - and I had similar leanings about you in turn. There is perhaps one other that I would include in my aforementioned observations, but to be blunt, he seems a right arse and is rather lacking the subtlety I prefer to employ over the next year. While brute force may solve a surprisingly great number of problems, I foresee it causing nothing but trouble in the long run. I prefer to avoid such trouble.

I find your terms agreeable, with but one caveat: we are each given the ability to sever the alliance at any time provided the other is given adequate forewarning. I am quite happy to discuss details once we have access to the relative privacy of the great outdoors - if we have access to Experiment A's private messages, who may have access to ours? Tomorrow afternoon, perhaps? I imagine most of your morning will, like mine, be spent exploring our new access.
