Sin was born Crimson Draven on May 26, 1988 to Sandra Draven. She was the second and final child, preceded by her brother Dominic Draven who is two years her elder. They had it rough growing up, both of them being raised solely by their alcoholic mother. Their fathers were both random one night stands, from one of their mother's frequented bars, whose names Sandra probably didn't even bother to get. Even from a young age, the two siblings were very close. Dom even bestowed the nickname of Sin upon her, one that she has gone by ever since, refusing to answer to Crimson on most occasions. In short her brother was not only blood to her, but he was her best friend.

Starting in middle school, Sin began to realize how much she could not stand most people. She would always joke that one day she was going to go live with the fucking kangaroos just to avoid society as a whole. Her brother always used to laugh about it with her and swear he was going that route too. Little did they know that one day, that little bit of humor was going to come true.

Shortly after Sin had graduated from high school, and just before she thought her fate would match Dom's and they'd both be stuck minimum wage jobs at the local liquor or tobacco store, they were both 'saved.' A knock at the door one day revealed a man in a business suit. Their uncle, a man they had never met due to a falling out between their mom and her brother over her behavior, had passed away. In his will, he named Sin and Dom the legal heirs to his small two bedroom house in Sydney and a small amount of money. Seizing this seemingly golden opportunity, the two siblings now eighteen and twenty, did their best to complete the paperwork and other legal obligations, all without their mother's help of course. A month before Sin's nineteenth birthday, they finally got the go-ahead and packed all of their important belongings up and were headed to Sydney, toasting her birthday the following month in their new place, now fixed up according to their standards.

That was around the time the small inheritance they had received had dwindled down to almost nil. Since they had no friends there to use for references or to even help in their search for a job, they did the best they could on their own. Sin found work as a model for TFP. While the job was fun, it was never steady and the pay rate was low. Dominic found work at a local music store that he deemed tolerable, and it seemed they might make it again after all. The bills continued to pile on and Sin found herself a second job, working as a cashier at The Black Angel in the QVB. The atmosphere suited her, and she got on well enough with her boss that he never fired her for being short with customers she didn't like.

A couple years in Australia and the tension building, Sin and Dom finally admitted their feelings for each other after an explosive fight over a radio DJ Sin had met. They started a relationship and though they still have explosive arguments from time to time, neither has ever tried to back out of it. Might not work so well if they did. The secret was safe until Dom's best friend Dru, who also happened to be Sin's ex boyfriend from when she was 16, moved in with them. The truth came out one day when Dom outed them to Dru because he couldn't handle knowing Dru was still trying to sleep with her again after all those years. He took the information well and swore to never let it go further than those three. The secret was safe again and life returned to normal.

After four years of small time modeling jobs, Sin finally hit it big. She got offered an actual high paying job and jumped at the chance. They flew her to LA for the week and they liked her work so much, they offered her an actual contract. After discussing it with Dom, Sin signed to it and has made her mark as the hottest new alt model in the circut. They moved to LA permanently so Sin could model and Dom could look for work with his new college degree doing special effects for horror flicks.
