(Private: Mark Summerby) I never thought I'd be a Wasp, not that I'm complaining really even though I'm only on their reserve team. The Wasps are a good team. They even have Hufflepuff colors, which I like. It makes me feel like I belong already. I've been wearing yellow and black for so long that it seems only natural to transition from Badger to Wasp.
I can't help but be a little disappointed though. I know it's still an honor to be chosen for a team (because look at Weasley who left empty-handed and all), but the reserve squad? I don't remember dad ever being on the reserve squad when he was with Puddlemere. Maybe he just forgot to mention that bit, seeing as how Puddlemere is one of the best teams in the league. Or maybe those were just different times back then.
The thing that really gets me though is this rubbish about "sensitivity training". What could I have possibly said that is "unbefitting" a Wasp and professional Quidditch player? Political nonsense is what it is. I'll go to their ridiculous training, but I am not changing my ideals or the way I express myself. That is all me, and they will never take that away from me. Wasp or not, I'm still my own person.
Three years on the reserve squad.... Make it count, Summerby. Make it fucking count.
