March 19th, 2013

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. I know I promised some art discussions, but I just haven't had the time. Oh, why is that, you may ask? Well... I've been busy at the Quidditch camp, that's why! Lots of great competition I'm seeing here so far. People from all over the world trying out for a spot on an International Quidditch team. It's going to be interesting to see who gets chosen and who doesn't.

As for me, well, I'm having the time of my life, thanks for asking. Spending all day playing Quidditch, learning about Quidditch, meeting professionals in the league and team managers. Just yesterday I went to a seminar describing all about how the professional world of Quidditch works. They also described things from the point of view of the managers, which made for quite the interesting discussion.

Today I played Seeker during the scrimmage. I managed to catch the Snitch in a decent amount of time, for which I was praised by several onlookers. Thank you. Thank you very much.

In closing, I would like to say a few things about the most recent Gryffindor vs Slytherin match. I think that those individuals, who shall remain nameless, who believe that it was Ron's fault for losing the match are completely mistaken. Was anyone even watching the Beaters on either team? Those bludgers were annihilating Gryffindor Chasers all over the Pitch. It wasn't the lack of points scored by the Gryffindor Chasers that lost them the match (or by the same token, the amount of saves by the Slytherin Keeper for that matter). It was the fact that the Slytherin Beaters were unstoppable, a force to be reckoned with. So, before you go badmouthing anyone, make sure you have all the facts first.

Good day.
