I never caught on to the whole pet-raising fiasco, but the dog has arrived, and I have almost no experience with my new canine acquaintance.

Lust, on the other hand, seems quite enamoured by it. So it may be somewhat cute but surely making motherly, baby, reassuring noises at it is going a little overboard?

Perhaps this gift would better suit her, Gluttony? I want it out of my house, and no amount of headtilts, licking or pleading/sad/cute faces it makes at me will change that.

I think you'll manage fine, she's a doll! I'm expecting some things to come within the next day or so, I'm not familiar enough with the area yet to send Nybs out to find things so I took the liberty of picking out a few necessities for the darling. I just couldn't decide between the black diamonds or the pearls, and Fifi's bed should be here within a day. It wouldn't do for the poor dear to sleep on the floor.

Why did you get it a bed? The grass outside is perfectly fine.

Because she's going to stay inside and she'll need a place to sleep. There's no reason to put her outside.

She would respond to Mary Magdalene if you looked at her and called her that sweetly.

Well, for one, there are people inside. The place will get dirty and things will get torn, broken, chewed up and played with.

There are people outside as well, the sordid sort who might very well take off with the poor thing! And if she's left outside, then she'll get all filthy with the grass, dirt, vermin - all sorts of nasty stuff. If left inside and with proper attention and care, she'll not destroy anything. You worry too much.

Only because I am seeing threats of the baby being used for target practice! I'll take her with me when I go out of town for the holiday this weekend.

You are most welcome to come with, if you'd like? Vegas will no doubt be different this time around, but the celebrations there are always enjoyable if nothing else.
