I am so excited about opening night tomorrow night that I can't even sleep right now. This show has been so much fun and I can't wait to put it all out there on stage.

Say what you will about this, but I was simply born to play a witch. And I am not at all ashamed to admit it.

I only wish that my brother was here to see it.

You'd probably enjoy it if you did.

Hmmm. Convince me.

Hmm. That could take a little effort on my part, Professor Brennon. I'm not sure if you're worth all of that.

Not worth even a little effort on your part?

Busy planning a dig in Turkey with two dozen annoying students. Takes more than a little work, you know. Especially considering how the locals feel about rich Americans.

That sounds incredibly boring.

To some. Seeing and touching history isn't boring at all to me.

I didn't say that part was boring, but the being stuck planning it part would be. Don't you have someone who could do that for you?

She can do a number of things, but it still requires a bit attention from me. She can do the minutia, but it requires my contacts to get past the red tape.

Ah. So not so very busy then, hmm? Making excuses for neglecting me, I suppose. I'd pout, but it causes premature wrinkles.

Obviously, you've never deal with foreign politics. My inferiore had the easy job of the minutia.

Aww. Pouting was so cute on you last time too.

Nope. Any time I've traveled abroad, there's always been someone who has been paid to take care of it all.

I was in a very different place then. I don't have nearly as much to motivate my pouting these days.

Though I suppose I do have you to thank for that, to an extent.

And what did I do? Other than enjoy an attractive young woman for a night.

Nothing, really. That's all you did. That's all that it was, all it was meant to be.

But afterward, I realized that that type of thing was never really going to make me happy and that I'd only ever really be happy when I stopped running from the way I feel. So I did. And I've been much happier since.

There's always a place for throwing caution to the wind and enjoying a moment.

So you're saying that one night with me sent you straight into a relationship. Hmm. Not quite sure how to take that.

There is.

And no, not necessarily. Well, it kind of did. I could word it another way but it might make it sound even worse. But it wasn't like that. I mean I obviously enjoyed myself. But I had been denying certain truths for a long time and I guess you could say that you were the straw that broke the camel's back. It wasn't just you. You were simply the last in a line of some questionable choices.

So you went and became an honest woman on me. Shame, since I enjoyed that night a bit. And I wouldn't have placed you for a woman making that many questionable choices.

I don't know exactly how honest I am. And even just a few is really too many for me.

That's called growing up. Lady your age is supposed to have her mistakes. It's healthy.

And why don't you know how honest you are?

Possibly. There have just always been certain expectations of perfection imposed upon me.

I don't know how honest I am because I had sex with someone over Spring Break other than my boyfriend or my girlfriend. And I haven't told my boyfriend about it yet and I'm not sure that I really want to.

And why would you let other people impose anything upon you?

I think the fact you have a boyfriend and a girlfriend says enough. Plus, the fact it would seem the girlfriend knows about this person the boyfriend doesn't.

It's difficult to say no to a parent.

Does it? I mean they both know about and are okay with the other. And of course the girlfriend knows. She was there. It was her boyfriend.

Sooner or later you have to.

And yet you don't want to tell him that you slept with her boyfriend.

I know. But I still rather enjoy being daddy's little girl.

No, not yet. At least not until she and he and I have had the chance to kind of discuss what went down that week and figure out if that's something that we all want to have happen again or if it was just a spring break road trip thing.
