I've had it with this weather now. I've always preferred a California Christmas to a white one. You can only do so much snowball throwing in one week.

If you need me outside of the Coffee Green, I'll be at MIST racking up the electric bill.

I have learnt that the Gemenid meteor shower is peaking this weekend. It may be cold outside, but perhaps we can find a rooftop to watch the stars. Would anyone care to join me?

Is it normal for big groups like that to be taken from here and returned to where they came from? Has anyone figured out how to join those groups?

I'm getting a bonus for helping to pack down and smooth the snow on the trails in Sidewinder. It's repetitive work with the snow every day, but it'll help with my Christmas shopping and it's given me a good topic for next Finer Things Club. It'll be all about what you can do on the trails, like snowshoeing, fat biking and cross-country skiing. We can talk about things you can do off-trail too. Like ice fishing, snowmobiles, snowball fights and skating on the lakes when the park department says it's safe.

There are times I find myself wishing for our technology from home. Trudging through the snow could be so much easier on many levels.

Surely, Dunwich thinks it's running on irony, returning Carla to me on a day where the snow has found its way. to double digits and doesn't seem to intend on stopping.

And that is poor timing, maybe. But I'm pleased regardless.

This is getting to be a lot of snow. I know some people would probably say that this amount of snow is too much snow. And there's still more coming!


But I'm saying... snowball fight.

The forecast is for snow tomorrow. If there's enough to need shovelling, make sure you do it properly and don't strain yourself. Better yet, use a snow blower or hire one of those snow plow companies. Check winter parking laws before parking your car on the street even if it's just while clearing your driveway.

You should all have your homes and cars winterized by now. Winterizing your home includes shit around the house like swimming pools and gardens. Don't forget those and don't forget emergency kits for your cars. I'm about to get off work. If you need help, let me know now.
