~~I don~~Perhaps I'm speaking out of line, but I feel like I need to say this.

Sometimes the camera captures things that no one should ever have to see, often without our knowledge. I've been broadcast killing people and have seen countless others delivering the death blow to those I love, so please consider this my request that we are a little more aware of what we are actually capturing with these new additions to our journals and how they might affect those around us.

	For now that has to be good enough. This was one of the reasons I wasn't in favour of having children. I didn't want them to be used to get back at me or have their pain broadcast for all to see, and just like at home I'm powerless to prevent that. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yeah. I get that. I never planned on having children, either, although the reasons were slightly different. But the thought of anyone attacking me through Cecily, or any of the other Harrys' kids [...] Have you talked much with the Harry from Love World? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It's really not. Not enough to make me regret having had her, though, even if this is the only place I'll ever get to see her. I'm concerned about him; he generally keeps to himself anyway, but I'm worried going to that version of his world really did a number on him. Even more than the rest of us. I got into a bit of an argument with Lily a few weeks ago over the subject of having children. As the son of a victor I knew that I didn't want to have children myself after hearing my mother worry at night when I was supposed to go to bed, and Sirius' death cemented that for me. Obviously I changed my mind later on after I married the Evans in my world since Harry is here, but I can't help but feel guilty when things like this happen and my gut reaction to seeing him hurt is to fall back on that logic and say watching him get hit on screen was the reason I didn't want children. It hurt more than I imagined it would even after seeing deaths of the children I mentored.

From what I've heard that was the first "world" we've actually visited, and what a world to go to. There are some similarities between my world and his, and I'll see if I can be of any help to him. Has he said anything to you about it?

Yeah; with Cecily, at least, I know that she doesn't have to grow up in the same regime I did, that at least my death accomplishes that much. I probably would feel different if I knew she'd had to live in a world where ~~Fath~~ Voldemort was still in power.

That's my understanding too, and if we're lucky it'll remain an anomaly. But, yeah, that's part of why I brought it up with you. He hasn't said anything to me specifically, it's more what he didn't say in his latest journal. I left him a private note there, but he hasn't responded yet. Hopefully I'm worrying over nothing.
