Of course he wouldn't just give you her, Potter. You have to find her. Think. If you were hiding the redhead, where would she be? Of course she'd be in the library, but that would be too obvious. That's not his style. He wants to make you sweat, and Merlin, I'm in my best suit, that bastard. Was. I have no idea what this garb is, but it's not from the Capitol, that's for certain.

Oh, did I mention that there are multiple versions of Lily here? As if things weren't twisted enough already, he puts copies of her out there and ages them differently. Bloody fanfuckingtastic.

Or. You know. He could have not done any of the above to make me paranoid. He's not above doing that either. I guess I better get started. ~~Where the fuck is Snape when I need him?~~

Hey there [...] James. I was a Lily Evans. Lily Potter now, but not your Lily. I'm from World #17 in the pamphlet and I am married to the remarkable and chivalrous James Potter above. I haven't seen your Lily, I'm afraid, but if I do, I will point her your way.

Also, don't insult the Lily up there. She's fantastic and I pack a meaner punch than my dear husband when I feel like it.

In his world, you have to kill people to live, you have to win the games in order to be allowed to be with someone you love. Healy makes people into prizes, and into things to be won or owned, it's not [...] that doesn't mean James believes it, it just means he's trying to be happy with you the only way that's possible in his world. By playing the game to win the prize.

And yes, that's awful. But it's not his fault.

What's logical to me, from my experience, is how much I am loved by my James. That makes sense to me. If I'm to make any sense out of someone else's circumstances, that is what I can understand. I think Harry is right. I think it's not what it seems. The world this James comes from is [...] unfathomable, but the love between a James and Lily, I think, can be a lot bigger than the world they live in.

	You're not in your world anymore, James. If your Lily is here, she hasn't been hidden by anyone for you to find. I hope you do run into her, though, if she is here. Can you tell me more about what you mean by 'awarded' Lily Evans? Were you two together before the games and, as victor, you were allowed to be together again? How did that work? I haven't seen Lily since I was 16, and when I was told I would get to make her mine I end up here. Judging from what I gather, James and Lily end up together everywhere but here. And a few others, but that doesn't count. I want to get to know her. I fucking earned the right to.

I left for the Games and Lily stayed behind. I didn't notice she was gone for a while after I got back. I was... distracted. I asked around and assumed she went to live somewhere else. I was Healy's puppet for four years - and probably will be until they tell me my time's up - and Healy awarded Lily to me. That's a good thing. She's alive, and ~~I hope she wants me~~ she won't want for anything now.

I am so sorry, James. I can't even begin to put myself in your shoes because I have never had to live the kind of life you have but if you care about Lily enough to do everything you can to protect her, you're good in my book. [...] Healy isn't here, at least. We're still not immune to the Scientists' whims, but it seems much better than the burden you had to bear in your world. I'll keep my eyes open for your Lily, James. You both deserve happiness, I think.

	Don't try to, Lily. It's not worth it. I didn't do anything, Lily. Healy took her to use against me. We both just got lucky he didn't do anything to her in that - I swear on my wand if he did anything that hurt her even in the slightest while she was with him all those years I'll turn my gun on him.
