Lily was desperately worried about Sirius. After getting him the potion, she had let James take it upstairs, not wanting to intrude on any kind of time Sirius and Remus were having. She figured James would be a more welcome figure than herself, especially since he had had time to cool off. She hadn't seen or talked to Sirius until this morning and it pained her to read his messages. There was something there that still seemed off and she wanted to try and help as much as she could.
She had been in the library studying when she started talking with him through the journals. She had ended up skipping class that day, something quite unlike herself. It was a lot to take in and she wanted to be there for her new friends, just in case. She ended up spending most of her time with James in the common room before he coaxed her outside to practice a few Quidditch moves. It was nice to be out and just fly around after everything. He certainly knew how get their minds off the pain in the Gryffindor Tower. She had also spent most of her time arguing with Severus once more.
As soon as she had gotten Sirius' confirmation, she had packed up her things and headed straight back to the common room. When she stepped through the portrait, he was already there waiting for her. She smiled and set her bag on a chair, walking over to him. "Hey," she said. "You're starting to look better," she said truthfully. He still looked waned and white, but definitely not as bad as when he had first walked into the room.
"Ready to go?" she asked, nodding her head outside.
