Christian Lucas Dragomir, formerly Ozera. His Royal Highness, the Prince Consort.2. Where and when were you born?
At the Royal Moroi Court in Pennsylvania. December 2nd, 1992.3. Who are/were your parents?
Lucas and Moira Ozera. My mother Moira was a member of the Szelsky bloodline before she married my father.4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
No. The closest thing I had to a sibling growing up was my aunt Natasha.5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I live in the Royal Court in Pennsylvania, again. Most of us are just Moroi and Dhampirs, but some of them are humans for feeding purposes.6. What is your occupation?
I work as a sort of advisor to the Queen, who's my wife.7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
I'm tall and slim. Maybe a little gangly. People say I'm the spitting image of my father and I carry a lot of the trademark Ozera features – black hair, grey-blue eyes.8. To which social class do you belong?
Royal – I'm the Prince Consort.9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
No allergies. Because I'm a Moroi, my immune system is superior to humans so I don't get sick, but we're also not invulnerable to physical harm. My wife lost what was left of her birth family in a car crash.10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right-handed.11. What does your voice sound like?
It's relatively deep but has a pretty normal pitch.12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
I probably swear a little more than what's appropriate for someone of my social status. But really, I don't typically listen to myself talk enough to notice.13. What do you have in your pockets?
Lint and my wallet, which has a couple ID cards in it, and my debit card. Also, my iPhone. I tend to travel light.14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Annoying habits... Rose would say my entire existence, maybe. I smirk, I roll my eyes, I make sarcastic remarks constantly, I'm stubborn, I can't use compulsion to save my life...
In the very beginning, it wasn't bad. My family was always very prestigious as a bloodline, and my father, before everything happened, was a good man. He was kind and funny. He cared about people. He cared about his family, and he cared about his friends. He thought the world of his loved ones. I can't remember how old I was exactly, it was around eight or nine, but my father lost a couple of his friends. One died in a freak skiing accident, the other died in a Strigoi attack. He just kind of changed. He wasn't happy anymore. I wasn't old enough then to detect exactly what was wrong, but Tasha was. Neither of us were prepared for him or my mom to do what they did.16. What is your earliest memory?
Fireworks at the Summer End's Ball. It was the night my parents decided to become Strigoi. I wish there was something before that, something happier, but it all kind of got drowned out by that. Every time I try to go back further, it's like the parents I knew are replaced by the ones with white faces and red eyes.17. How much schooling have you had?
I've pretty much gone to St. Vlad's Academy my entire life but I graduated. Afterwards, I went to Allentown, PA with Lissa. She went to Lehigh University, and I decided to enroll at the Lincoln Technical Institute where I studied in their Culinary Arts program.18. Did you enjoy school?
At St. Vladimir's, not particularly. I kind of stuck to myself most of the time. I had a small circle of friends but I was basically a loner. The only class I really enjoyed at all when I was there was my culinary science class. Once I got to LTI, it was much better.19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
Warm and fuzzy classroom exercises in the elements were provided generously by St. Vladimir's. Skills applicable to real life and dangerous situations, I was taught by my aunt Natasha, and Dimitri Belikov.20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
My aunt Tasha, but she kind of revoked that title. I never liked Queen Tatiana much, but I never wished her dead. My aunt murdered her in cold blood out of jealousy and tried to frame one of my best friends for it. And when we found out the truth and called her out on it, she snapped and nearly killed the woman I love. All because things didn't go her fucking way.21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
I didn’t see most of them enough to know. After my parents died, I saw them a lot less, except for my cousin Brett on occasion.22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
My dad was a good cook when I was still living with my parents. I kind of got that tendency from him and it hasn't really gone away.23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
Mostly learning how to cook and helping out in the kitchen. And then there was reading, too.24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
Very reserved and quiet. I observed others quietly but few approached me and I don’t think I really minded. Better to be ignored than constantly under a magnifying glass.25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
No I was not popular. I had very few friends because of what my parents did, so I kept to myself.26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
Vasilisa Dragomir, a while after she and Rose returned to the Academy.27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
Nope- put two and two together. Dragons and flames are a great match, what can I say?28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
I was born a Moroi vampire. I’ve been the way I am my entire life and will always be this way.
I'd say marrying Lissa is pretty high up there.30. Who has had the most influence on you?
Dimitri, first and foremost. Then Lissa and Rose. Dimitri was kind of a male figure I needed growing up after everything happened. Dimitri and Rose both helped me gain thicker skin, in their own ways. As for Lissa, she's like the complete polar opposite of me. We're both sensitive, but she's more sensitive of other people whereas I'm kind of a blunt asshat that tends to tell it like it is. She's a lot nicer than me but that's not to say she isn't strong. She's been through way too much and came out on top in the end. She doesn't give up.31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Killing a Strigoi. It was proof that I could do it, if I ever needed to. It was a benchmark of success and hope for the future of my race.32. What is your greatest regret?
I'm totally kidding but... not letting Ralf have at least one little singe mark. Even after I "set him on fire", he didn’t stop being a dick.33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
Probably setting Ralf Sarcozy "on fire", but he was sort of asking for it. So I really don’t regret it. Besides, he didn’t even really get hurt.34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
I helped break Rose out of prison if that counts, and got two week suspension for setting Ralf on fire.35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
Probably the time in Spokane when the Strigoi had us held captive. I thought I was going to either die or end up being forcibly Awakened.36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
Something about Rose accidentally seeing Lissa and I doing... stuff in the church attic. Eternal cringe.37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
Nothing, honestly. Yea, a lot of really shitty stuff happened to me but the important thing is that I survived.38. What is your best memory?
When Lissa said yes.39. What is your worst memory?
Seeing Tasha pull a gun on Lissa, Rose take the bullet for her, and Rose almost dying because of it. Tasha was my only role model growing up, and probably one of the only people I trusted. I loved her, for a while she was the only family I had, and to see her pull a gun on the girl I love was terrifying enough the way it was. I didn’t like Queen Tatiana much the way it was, but she didn’t deserve to be murdered. The fact Tasha framed Rose for it over a jealousy issue is fucking ridiculous. Lissa is lucky to have a best friend and guardian as loyal and dedicated as Rose and it would have destroyed her if Rose had died trying to save her life. If that makes me a sap, I don’t really care.
Realist on the side of optimism.41. What is your greatest fear?
Something bad happening to Liss, Rose, or Dimitri. Granted, we sort of attract trouble because of what we are anyway but still...42. What are your religious views?
Spiritual to some extent but not religious, really. For the sake of mine and Lissa's wedding, we went Eastern Orthodox Christian for the ceremony but neither of us are that serious about religion, on a base level.43. What are your political views?
Our government is a democratic monarchy. Only royals can take the throne, but we nominate our candidates from each of the twelve royal families. The candidates all have to undergo a series of endurance tests and things before they can truly be eligible for the throne, on top of that. All the nominees have the right to go through the tests, regardless of whether or not they can actually take the throne. My "uncle" Ronald was the candidate to be King from my line, but he didn't pass the chalice test so he was disqualified from the running for the throne.44. What are your views on sex?I think it's a pretty great system, honestly. I don't agree with all the laws we have in place, but with Lissa on the throne, I think our future is looking pretty bright.
Save it for someone you actually like. One-night stands have a potential to create too much trouble and drama.45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
Yes, if protecting myself and people I care about. If someone is going to try and kill or harm me or someone I care about, I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure more harm comes to them.46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
Lie.47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
Didn’t used to but I do, now. I can't imagine myself with anybody but Lissa. She and I have seen too much, been through too much together to not be together.48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Not lowering yourself to other people’s levels, rising above the hate you receive and showing people who’s boss.49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
Most would say I’m brutally blunt, at times.50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
I try to give everyone a chance to prove themselves. I used to be very prejudiced towards Royals despite the fact I was one, myself. I used to not be able to stand Mia Rinaldi and then she turned her attitude around after the events in Spokane and now I actually sort of respect her a little more. She’s asked me for help a few times as far as practicing offensive magic goes.51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
I refuse to turn Strigoi, for any reason. I’d rather die than end up a Strigoi and lose my morality. It goes against everything I stand for.52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
I’m faithful to those who are faithful to myself. The top three people I’d die for are Lissa, Dimitri and Rose. Rose and Dimitri are sworn to die for Lissa and I, respectively, if it ever came to that, but I'd go out of my way to try and make sure that doesn't happen. I almost died for Lissa and Rose, once, myself.
It depends on the person, really. Some people have proven themselves unworthy of my ‘good side’ simply because of how they act towards me and people I care about. Ralf Sarcozy, Jesse Zeklos, and Wesley Drozdov are three people I have literally zero issue exerting my particular level of power over.54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
This is going to make me sound like a total sap but Lissa. Aside from Tasha and Dima, she was one of the first people to accept me, despite what my parents did.55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
Definitely Rose and Dimitri. Rose has her flaws and so does Dimitri, but they’re both a couple of the best guardians I’ve seen in a long time. I unfortunately can’t say Rose has always put Lissa’s safety before her own because of the situation with Dimitri, but she was still able to find a way to help Lissa even though she was literally halfway across the world. Dimitri’s been through hell and back, and still he was able to get himself back together. Even when he’d almost lost hope for himself.56. Who are your friends and describe them.
Dimitri Belikov - Dimitri was there for me right after my parents died, no questions asked. Tasha and Vinh (my guardian back then) had to go in to talk with the guardians and Dimi happened to be at Court at the time touring with some other novices from Russia. While Vinh and Tasha were in, Dimitri sat with me and talked. We kept in touch even after that night and he's been my fount of sanity through my youth.57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.Lissa Dragomir - The love and light of my life. She's grown so much in the time I've known her. She's humble and down-to-earth, and she looks past the surface bullshit and tries to always find the good in other people. She's a figure to believe in and she'll lead us to greatness if people just give her a chance.
Rose Hathaway - My fount of insanity, ha. Rose is like my sister, honestly. At the end of the day, Rose and I are very close, even though we seem to bicker constantly. She's one of the few guardians I know that seem to truly understand the meaning of sacrifice. She's kind of insane but she and I work well together when the tension is high and some of our antics together have literally saved lives.
Adrian Ivashkov - Adrian and I didn’t really get along much at all in the beginning. When we first met I was still sort of in my ‘ew, Royals’ phase and wasn’t too sure about him because of his reputation of being a womanizer. Since he's married with a child now, he's calmed down a lot. After we started being around each other more he wasn’t so bad and now I sort of actually enjoy his company. I’m pretty sure he’s partially in love with my meatloaf recipe. Most of his heart belongs to Sydney which is kind of hilarious to me since she used to pretty much hate our kind.
Sydney Ivashkov - I’m pretty sure she still thinks I’m psychotic but at least she doesn’t think I’m out to kill her, anymore. That’s an improvement, I’d say. All jokes aside, Sydney has become one of our circle's best friends. She's often a voice of logic in a crazy world
Mia Rinaldi - I couldn’t stand her at first, because of how she treated Lissa even though Lissa didn't really... do anything wrong? She was kind of a huge bitch (sorry Mia) but now she’s chill (ha, water pun). I help her sometimes with her practicing. She lost her mother in the ski resort attack, which is awful. A lot of awful shit happened, honestly, and she was trapped in Spokane with us, but she risked her life to help Rose by using offensive water magic. Moroi are supposed to look for dhampirs for protection, but Mia didn't hesitate and did what she could to make sure Rose got out of that hellish house, alive. That's something worth admiring, and now we get along a lot more.
Yes, I do. Her name is Lissa Dragomir and I don’t think I have enough words to describe her. I will say this though- if it wasn’t for her, I’d still probably be the weird guy in all black that sulks near a church 24/7. She didn’t have to use her spirit magic to bring me back to life.58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
Yes. Lissa Dragomir happened, that’s what. I’ve never been with anyone else but her, and I don’t think I really ever needed to be.59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
I’m going to bullshit this answer and say female with blonde hair, green eyes, last name Dragomir.60. How close are you to your family?
After my parents died, not very close at all. My closest for a while was my aunt Natasha. I don't see much of my other relatives, aside from Lia for training and I sometimes talk to my "uncle" Ronald from time to time, though our relationship is a bit strained.61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?I remember back when shit hit the fan, my aunt Tasha mentioned something he said about Ozeras needing to look out for each other (before it happened), and then as soon as news of my parents made wind to him, he kind of pulled a fast 180 on my aunt and I - guilt by association.
Not yet, but we hope to, soon. I’m waiting until Lissa’s ready to do that. Right now it’s a little too risky. First we need to make sure her half-sister Jill is safe, and then we can worry about making our own “Little Dragomirs”.62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? When I married Lissa, I took her last name "Dragomir". My bloodline has plenty of people to keep it going for the long run, I don't have the best relationship with them to begin with... Honestly it just made the most sense to me and taking her last name was my idea, which was a pretty easy agreement on our part. Evette (one of my cousins) gets to stay Princess of the Ozera line, Jill doesn't have as much pressure on her anymore because she's not the "Dragomir Princess", and Lissa's line is a little more secure with my being her Prince.
Dimitri or Rose, definitely. They’re inseperable so if I ask the help of one, the other is likely to jump in anyway.63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
Dimitri, definitely. He is one of the best guardians out there and he’s the one that chose me as his charge.64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
A few years ago, I’d probably say nobody. Now, I reckon there’s quite a few people who would be upset by my being gone.65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
My aunt Tasha. I thought I could trust her. I hate being lied to.66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
I try to avoid conflict, if I can. But I always jump on the chance to "argue" with Rose, mainly because it's a great boredom buster for us both.67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Maybe more than I did, before.68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
It depends on the circumstance. I don’t like parties much, but I’d gladly teach a group of people wanting to learn offensive magic so they could protect themselves if needed.69. Do you care what others think of you?
I think everyone who isn’t Strigoi cares what people think of them at one point or another. I used to be pretty self-conscious and had extremely low self-esteem but not so much anymore. I’m more confident and secure now.
I really love cooking. Making meatloaf is sort of my specialty, though. I’d like to do more outdoorsy stuff like camping and hiking but it’s too risky with Strigoi always stalking everywhere. I do a lot of reading in my spare time.71. What is your most treasured possession?
Does an engagement or wedding ring count?72. What is your favorite color?
Jade green. Three guesses why.73. What is your favorite food?
Would it be lame of me to say my own meatloaf? Three meats in the base, and wrapped in bacon. It's a godsend.74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
I would say my guilty pleasure is cooking but why the fuck should cooking be a guilty pleasure? Bring me ALL the cookbooks. All of them.75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
I love horror movies. Lissa gets scared sometimes and then I tease her about it. Of course, I end up getting smacked sometimes but that’s half the fun. I’m kind of an asshole for comical purposes and I really just like pushing people’s buttons. Of course, I have to be careful with Rose or she might end up punching me…. Adrian Ivashkov in general counts as an idea of good entertainment, right?76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs?
No to drugs and smoking. Occasionally I'll drink but that's about it. I don't much like drinking socially but every now and then a drink with Adrian or a glass of good wine at the dinner table with Lissa isn't so bad.77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
That’s pretty much my day off. I end up taking Lissa out with Rose and Dimitri a lot. We do a lot of double-dating, really. It works well for us all.78. What makes you laugh?
More like who…. I talk with Rose and Adrian quite a lot and they’re both similar in personality to myself. Adrian’s a bit cockier than I am but it’s not in a way that’s annoying. We’re all able to have some rather entertaining conversations. I have a really sarcastic and dry sense of humor. Things like ironic humor make me laugh a lot.79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
A little hypocritical of me to say this, but super judgmental people.80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
If only I had vocal tapes of history class from St. Vlad’s. I’d fall asleep in seconds.81. How do you deal with stress?
This is not helping my ‘pyromaniac’ image at all, but…. set small things on fire- things that people would not mind being set on fire. Twigs, small branches, etc. There’s something calming about watching a small flame burn. I could just light a lavender candle and watch that burn for a while. Or sage. Aromatherapy can be really nice.82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? I prefer to have a plan. From experience, not having a plan seems to not always go very well. 83. What are your pet peeves?
- I have mild misophonia. Can't stand the sound of people eating or drinking. It's not that hard to keep your mouth closed.
- Dirty computer screens
- Visually misleading jelly beans (cinnamon and cherry look too much alike, I’m sorry)
- Girls who wear too much perfume
- Unexpected company
- Litterbugs
- People who put salt on everything without tasting it first then complain about their food being too salty
- People who honk their horns at us the nano-second the light turns green at the stoplight (I will melt your fucking tires to the ground).
- There’s a lot more than this.
I'm nocturnal so I wake up in the evening around 7 or 8 PM. Depending on how I feel, I might or might not go to the feeder's clinic to get a quick "pick-me-up" and then I come back to mine and Lissa's quarters to make us some breakfast and get ready for the "day". Lissa usually has a pretty set schedule she follows because she's the Queen and she likes to be organized. I keep a relatively consistent schedule but sometimes things don't work out for a day as they normally should. I just use the extra free time to train with Dimitri at the gym.85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
I'm very forgiving. Granted that, I still have my limits and views on what things can be forgiven. Whether or not I forgive you, depends on the situation. Some things like an accidental kiss might anger me in the moment, but they don't matter in the long run. Some things... they matter to me. A lot. It isn't easy to simply look past some wrongdoings, no matter how much you liked or even loved a person.86. What is your greatest weakness?I guess when it comes down to life or death situations, that's when I'm much more critical of my choices.
I generally believe in second, even third chances. But past that, it's 'once bitten, twice shy'.
I act on my emotions a lot. Lissa is in danger? Throw myself into danger to protect her. Doing that almost got me killed, once. I've done a lot of stupid things out of emotion that almost cost me everything, including my life.87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I can be super awkward. It'd be nice to be able to conduct conversations with other people easier.88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Introverted.89. Are you generally organized or messy?
Healthy medium. My deskspace is kind of 'organized chaos' but Lissa likes everything else to be clean and orderly. Thankfully we have people that come in and keep things clean for us. It's a general rule though that nobody touches my desk. I like my things where they are on my desk.90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
GOOD91. Do you like yourself?BAD
- Standing up for myself and what I believe in.
- Fire magic.
- Cooking.
- Keeping my mouth shut when I should keep my mouth shut.
- Not annoying Rose.
- Compulsion. But it's not something I want to be good at anyway, so I don't care about this one that much.
A lot more than I used to. The old me was kind of a bitter and jaded jackass with major self-esteem issues.92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
I do "heroic" things because I want to do them. I have one of the most useful elements at my side for killing Strigoi. If I can torch even one of them, that's a lot of lives saved.93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
I want to help people. I want Moroi to be able to help themselves when trouble comes, instead of depending on dhampirs to save their asses. Not all of us in this world have the luxury of having a bodyguard follow us everywhere. I'm a Royal and even our two guardians weren't enough to stop my parents from coming back for me. I don't want people to be in mine and Tasha's positions when trouble comes. I want people to live and be able to fight.94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Alive and with the beginning of a new family.95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
Uh... not getting staked in the heart or immolated, that's for damn sure.96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
1. Throw the world's greatest bonfire and fireworks show. I'm not going out without a bang.97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
2. Church attic things with Lissa.
3. Make one last batch of bacon-wrapped meatloaf for Rose. Not specifically in that order. I don't need Rose to be traumatized.
Not taking any shit. My devotion and loyalty to my friends. Hopefully the good I did while I was here to do it. I'm a relatively simple guy, like that.98. What three words best describe your personality?
1. Insightful99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
2. Cynical
3. Stubborn
1. Sarcastic100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)
2. Protective
3. Psychotic
Just keep being you, dude. People are going to continue to dislike you for stupid reasons, a lot of which were totally out of your control, and you can't really stop them from doing that. You know yourself better than anybody so really, who cares what the other people think? Unlike some people you know, you have the guts to admit when you've made a mistake or fucked up, which is the first step to growing from them.
