I was trying to make this a surprise but there's really no way to. We're going on a little trip for your birthday. We leave Wednesday and will return on Sunday. Narcissa is going to keep the girls Wednesday to Friday and then Rabastan is going to parent-up at the weekend.

Pack well. The temperature where we're going will be much the same as it is here. And you will be needing some of your more submissive attire.

I give more detentions and send more students to the Dean of Discipline in the Spring than any other time of year purely because teenagers in the Spring are very distracted by one another and cannot, or will not, focus on anything else. It's like they all suddenly wake up. You can literally watch it happen. It's exhausting. And though I'm not punishing anyone for it, the pheromones they emit are uncomfortably pungent and just gross. Bloody fucking animals.
