Can someone remind me of why I woke up holding the rear-view mirror from my bike? Is the rest of my bike okay? And do I have a new tattoo in the middle of my back? I can't see it (or haul myself out of bed to look), but I can feel something. Everyone in the house is gone, including Botty. Is it all related? That remains unclear.

You know what? I am so lucky. Lucky, lucky, lucky. I have the best friends in the world. James especially is just so great. I mean, my wife's okay, and my girls are kind of cute, but James is really the light of my life. I don't think I could live without him. He's a sexy mofo as well, have you noticed that? And so funny! Funnier than me, I am not afraid to admit.

I had an unexpected and oddly quiet birthday this year with just my girls. It was kind of nice. My children are the best gift givers.

Aurora made an amazing clock out of a motorcycle gear. I'm not sure where she got the gear, though. Have I ever mentioned how fucking talented she is?

A pit with 20 puppies and my three girls may be the best thing I've ever experienced. I don't know who's idea it was, but it was brilliant. The leg humping furniture, also brilliant though extremely disturbing. Thank you everyone. It was a great birthday.
