"Zat all depends on 'ow it ends," Fleur said, smiling broadly. She was already considering a date, truth be told, as Bill had certainly moved well past co-worker territory already, but she still wanted to see what he'd try. Fleur giggled again and shook her head. "You do not seem like a block'ead, not yet." Fleur teased. It was understandable, she supposed, to want to know more about muggles, they could be oddly fascinating and frustrating all at once. "I'm sure you know more about zem zan I do. They do some odd zings" Pausing for a moment, Fleur considered Bill's question. Funnily enough she couldn't think of anything, interesting or not about herself. "I like to read, very much; not very interesting, I know."
"How it ends?" It was bold, or at least, he interpreted it boldly, but ever since she'd pressed him into blushing, she seemed to be steadily trying to get him to do it again. "So if I cock this one up, I'll get a do-over for Friday?" He grinned as largely as she did, pleased that they were here, when an hour ago, he'd been resigned to going home, spending another evening wondering if he should have said hello. "Reading is interesting, or at least so I've been told," He teased, still brushing his thumb over her fluttering pulse. "What do you like to read? Histories, fiction?"
"Yes." Fleur said with a nod, giving him another flirty smile. "But just one, yes?" Fleur warned, trying to give him a stern look, though that very quickly desolved into a smile. Maybe it was because she'd fancied him something rotten for months, but something told her he wasn't about to muck this up. She wasn't going to either, not if she could help it. "I like both, sometimes history, somezing I can learn with, but when I want a break I prefer fiction. Zere is somezing so fun about entering a fantasy world, yes?"
"Just the one, if I need a second chance, feel free to knock me around." Her stern look was... adorable. Slightly pouted lower lip, sparkling eyes, and a slightly furrowed brow, and when it dissolved, he was almost sad to see it go. "If you like, I'll lend you some texts from Egypt... ah-" A sudden though crossed his mind, and for a moment, he was willing to let it slide, but curiosity won over. "Unless- You speak English well, I'm guessing that your reading is also coming along? I don't mean to be offensive, but if you like, I can try to find you something in French if it's easier, I don't right know what it is that you'd like."
"I will," Fleur nodded solemly before grinning. "I 'ope I don't 'ave to." She said honestly, although they were having fun, Fleur really did like Bill and hated the thought of not being able to find out where this was going. Fleur placed her hand over Bills and smiled as she looked into his eyes. "Zat is so sweet of you to say. I know my Eenglish is 'orrible. I should lean better. It is 'ard for me to read Eenglish, but I am theenking it would be better?" she paused and gave his hands a squeeze. "I'd like anyzing on Egypt, in Eenglish."
"Your English isn't horrible." Bill sat up a little straighter, wondering where the insecurity had come from. "I've understood everything that you've said, and as for the reading, that'll just come with time." He almost waved dismissively, but suddenly felt the need to reassure her. At any rate, in English it is." There was some uncertainty when thinking about which book to bring her, 'anything' was so broad, and nothing came instantly to mind, however he knew with a little thought, he'd manage to find her something she could really enjoy.
"Maybe not 'orrible, but it could use 'elp," Fleur said decisively. Perhaps she was being hard on herself, but it was why Fleur had come to England, well one of the main reasons anyway. She certainly hoped to improve her English. "Thank you, Bill" She said giving his hand another squeeze and flashing him another smile. She couldn't even begin to think of what to ask for, nor did she really imagine that Bill would get her any such book, but it was kind of him to offer. "'ave you always liked Egypt?"
