Appearance

Mannerisms:
Style: If there’s one word to describe Fleur’s style it’s flawless. She may not wear the most expensive clothing, especially now that they’ve got a family, but what she does wear looks well tailored, fit to her body and looks stunning on her. Always a woman of impeccable taste, Fleur manages to look perfect, even after hours spent with three little kids.
Notable Features: Silvery-blonde hair and generally a other-earthly look.
Height/Weight: 130 lbs; 5’10
Hair/Eyes: silvery blonde/light blue
General: Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe Fleur. She's tall, standing nearly 5 feet 10 inches tall, and has a very light, nearly delicate frame; with long silvery-blonde hair, Fleur embodies the traditional sense of beauty. Whilst she does possess this classical beauty, Fleur also has a strangeness to her beauty, almost as if there was something slightly different about her; unusual, though not in a bad way. One quarter Veela, Fleur has inherited some of the traits of her granmére, though she doesn't have the deadly capabilities the Veela do. Instead, Fleur possesses the nearly silver coloured blonde hair, and the uncanny ability to make men fall in love with her.

Unfortunately as she is not full-blooded, Fleur does not have complete control of this ability, nor does she have quite the magical effect the creatures do,. Instead, men find her incredibly enchanting when they meet her, though the more time they spend around her, the less the ability affects them. This is how Fleur is able to interact with her friends and family, though when she goes new places, such as her first arrival at Hogwarts, men often jump to attention. As Fleur grew up, she found that she was able to control this power to a certain extent, and having matured over time, she no longer feels the need to be constantly adored by men, though she will admit that she finds it terribly flattering; most of the time.
PB: Yvonne Strahovski

Personality

First Meeting:When one first looks at Fleur, one only imagines a vain, vapid, selfish woman. Fleur, however, is nothing of the sort. Having possessed the power of beauty all of her life, a power which only strengthened as she hit puberty, Fleur found our first hand just what it was like to be the envy of every woman, and the adoration of every man. As any teenager is wont to do, Fleur used this ability to its fullest, and eventually found herself with few friends. N
Patronus: Fleur's swan patronus changed to a wolf-cub in response to Bill's attack
Sexuality: Heterosexual, which is why her ‘power’ only works on men.
Political Views: Fleur has always and will always believe in the equalities of wizards and muggles. She’s not certain where she stands on being open
General:
Most Endearing Qualities:
- Loving - for those people Fleur actually allows close enough to see her true character, Fleur is unceasingly caring. She's cared for Bill throughout his injuries, having mastered basic first aid spells that she would need once she joined the Order and when her sister was caught in the Triwizarding tournament had tried everything she could to get her back.
- Loyal - Like her willingness to stand by Bill through his injury, Fleur is not about to turn away from those she cares regardless of the situation.
- Intellectual - Fleurs prefers serious and intellectual discussions, she likes expanding her mind, and despite the language issues can usually hold her own in a conversation, so long as people are patient with her.
Most Annoying Qualities:
- Closed off - As a part Veela, Fleur possesses the ability to make men fall over each other to do things for her, because of this, she has a very hard time running across any genuine feelings, and as such tends to be very wary with new people, which makes her often appear cold and aloof.
- Vanity - Fleur knows well how beautiful she is, and often takes pride in this matter.
- French - Fleur's grasp of the English language is also a bit of a problem; she tries hard to make her meanings come across, but more often than not her helpful comments come across sounding rude and snippy.

Fleur will admit that she was difficult to deal with when she was younger. However, she will swear that this is a matter of the past, and has changed considerably since then. As when she was younger, Fleur will allow few people to become close to her. She can never be certain whom to trust, and as such does not have many close friends. However those people whom she considers friends mean the world to her. Unceasingly loyal, Fleur has always done her best to be there for her friends. She was there for Bill when he suffered his attack, and had hoped to be there through all of the problems they faced afterwards. In fact, Fleur knows that the main reason she left was for Bills health, though it broke her heart to have to leave him.

An avid fan of education and reading, Fleur's actually far more intellectual than one might expect. As she was always treated like a dumb blonde, Fleur started using her intelligence in order to improve her grades and develop her mind. She hopes to be able to prove to people that there's so much more beneath the pretty exterior. Part of her actually desires to be able to hold her own in her conversation, perhaps it's her competitive nature in play or her inquisitive mind, but Fleur rather enjoys being able to say "ha! I bested you!" in intellectual discussions, though clearly decorum wouldn't permit her to say such things out loud. Though she'd been knwon to think it on more than one occasion.

As the eldest daughter, and for nine years the only daughter of a wealthy Parisian purblooded family, Fleur was spoiled rotten as a child. Always expecting the best, and receiving it of course, Fleur found that there wasn't anything her parents or extended family would deny her as she grew up, and her powers developed, Fleur found that this extended past her own family, and she could manipulate people in any way she wanted, to get what she felt she deserved. Over the years Fleur has matures, though she does often expect the finer things and life, and has come to expect the best. She is a determined young woman, and knows quite well what she wants, and how she's going to get it. It's one of the main reasons she eventually married Bill, the best man she'd ever met. He, as all of the other fine things in life, were meant for her.
Hobbies: reading, writing, studying, learning English culture
Quirks:
Plans/Goals: To raise her three beautiful children, further her career and then retire with her fantastic husband
Abilities: part-Veela

Relationships

Immediate Family:
William Weasley; husband
Bill is the love of Fleur’s life. She first saw him whilst at Hogwarts during the Triwizarding tournament. She’d noticed him immediately, and had in fact been staring quite a bit. He was tall, handsome, and had that brooding look about him that Fleur couldn’t help but love. His injuries over the war only seemed to strengthen Fleur's love for Bill, making her proud to be his girlfriend then wife. Over the past eight years of their marrage things have continued strong and despite the occasional arguments, Fleur often finds herself falling in love with Bill all over again.

Victoire Weasley; daughter – born May 2nd, 2000
Victoire is and will always be Fleur’s pride and join. She is the spitting image of Fleur, and the most adorable child in the universe. As Bill and Fleur’s first child and the first Weasley grandchild, Victoire’s birth was anxiously awaited and eagerly celebrated. Although Fleur had been nervous about her first pregnancy, when Victoire was born all the difficulties of the birth were immediately forgotten and Fleur immediately fell in love.

Dominique Weasley; daughter – born 15 July, 2002
Like Victoire, Dominique was a planned and happy addition to the Weasley family. The second grandchild born into the large Weasley family, Dominique’s birth was celebrated with as much fanfare and celebration. Dominique is well loved and cared ofr by her parents who were just as happy to have their second little girl. Dominique has inherited her mother’s fair skin and perfect complexion though with her father’s dark ginger hair.

Louis Weasley; son – born 29 March, 2004
Little Louis was a big surprise to Fleur and Bill. With two little girls, Fleur had almost expected that their last child would be a boy. The Weasleys may have had a history of boys, but as far as she could remember Veelas were mostly females. Nevertheless, Louis was a very welcome addition to the little family and Fleur was happy that they finally had a little boy for Bill. Although a little nervous about having to care for a boy, Fleur quickly adjusted to her little boy and dotes upon him. Like Dominique, Louis has a mixture of his parents, with Fleur’s silvery blonde hair and his father’s complexion including light freckles across his nose. Each day, Fleur sees a little more of her husband in their little boy.
Apolline Delacour; mother
Carbonelle Delacour; father

Gabrielle Delacour; younger sister - 18 years old
Although the girls are very far off in age, Fleur really cares for her sister and she has always been a very important figure in her life. Fleur has always looked out for her sister, and now that she is growing into a young woman, Fleur has every desire to be there for her sister, helping to guide her and be there for anything she should need.
Molly and Arthur Weasley; in-laws
Things hadn’t started off nearly as well with her future in-laws as Fleur would have liked. It was easy to win over Arthur, after all he was a man, and she had sway over their sort. Molly, on the other hand, was incredibly difficult to win over. Fleur tried really hard to convince Molly that she was right for her child, but it would seem that anything she did would to be good enough. She understood that Molly was concerned for her son but Fleur was convinced that if she only tried hard enough one day Molly would come to accept her.
Charlie Weasley; brother-in-law – 33 years old
Fleur sometimes thinks that Charlie is the only Weasley family member on her side. Like most men, Charlie's not immune to Fleur's charms, though as Bill's closest brother he's made a distinct effort to get to know Fleur. Fleur find him funny, entertaining, and certainly fun to be around.

Ron Weasley brother-in-law – 25 years old
Fleur cannot help but adore Ron. He’s always been partially in love with her, and somehow she can’t help but find him adorable for it. Although Fleur has never been really fond of how some men react around her, Ron has always been amusing and entertaining even as he tries to entertain her. It helped that Hermione was fairly good at keeping him under control.

Ginny Weasley; sister-in-law – 23 years old
Ginny is Fleur’s favourite sister-in-law. Regardless of how little the fiery red-head cares for her, Fleur found herself often admiring the younger girl. She has a really strong character, a great person, and part of her has always wanted to be a little more like her. It was the main reason she and Bill named their daughter after her.

General:
April 2nd, 1977 the Delacours welcomed their first child into their family. Like her mother, the new baby girl was incredibly beautiful, even at birth. Seeing her daughter in her arms, Apolline decided to name her Fleur Isabelle Delacour, as she was as beautiful as a flower. Carbonelle was slightly disappointed to see that his first child was not a son, though when he first looked at his beautiful girl, he instantly fell in love. As the only child for years, Fleur was doted upon and spoiled as much as her parents could manage. When she was younger, Fleur was provided with everything that she could ever wish for, and as she grew, so did her tastes.

With only one child to care for, Carbonelle and Apolline dedicated much of their home life to ensuring that Fleur’s grew up well, and that nothing could ever stop her from achieving her dreams. Although the Delacours were by no means well off, they were very comfortable, and Carbonelle was able to easily provide for his wife and child. As the child of traditionalists, Fleur grew up in a all magical household, with all of the values and traditions of the older magical families of France. Although the traditions felt a little silly to Fleur, she really didn’t mind them most of the time, and had a fairly enjoyable and carefree childhood.

A few short weeks before her 10th birthday, Fleur’s younger sister was born. Gabrielle was the highlight of Fleur’s young life. The event had a massive impact on Fleur who immediately took a liking to the little baby girl and liked to pretend that Gabrielle was her little plaything, her doll. Although she only had two years to know her sister before going off to school, Fleur spent about as much as she possibly could with her new baby sister. Although Beauxbatons would tear her away from her new baby sister, Fleur would continue to write to Gabrielle, and spend as much time with her whenever she was at home.

By the time Florent attended Beauxbatons he was already quite used to getting everything he could possibly want, and was scarcely told no. As such, it was quite shocking for him to suddenly find out that indeed, the world did not revolve around him. In fact, the entire fact that classes, and teachers and other students weren’t at all interested in him.

Nevertheless, Florent learned quickly whom to trust and how to do well in his new location. With each coming year, Florent learned more about his school, the students and social behaviour. Beauxbatons quickly became his new home, and the few friends she made in the process would become his closes friends for life. Although she would have several boyfriends throughout his years at Beauxbatons, Florent would find his girl friends to be the most significant friendships made whilst at the school. It was how they didn’t react to her, the way they treated her that helped cement their friendship.

As years passed and Florent got older, boys at his school started to hate spending time with Florent, as it would often mean that they may lose their girlfriends as the girls tried, in vain, to win his heart. When he was younger, Florent would often use this to his advantage, to toy with someone who'd been mean to him, or ruin someone's chances with certain boys. As a result Florent quickly earned a reputation at Beauxbatons, that of a playboy, despite the fact that Florent hadn’t actually dated many people. As such, Florent was very selective with the people he allowed close to him. He needed to trust his friends, and he found this matter to be quite difficult.

Adept at both his studies and his homework, Florent did well in all of his classes, and although he didn’t study much, Florent was fairly intelligent and achieved high marks in most of his classes. It was for this reason, that in his final year, when the Triwizarding Tournament was announced, Florent was more than excited to join in the adventure. As she boarded the carriage, Florent was quite confident that she would be chosen as the Beauxbatons champion, and certain that she would emerge victorious.

The trip to Hogwarts turned out to be an interesting venture in more than one way. She was incredibly excited to begin the tournament, although the process seemed to have taken a nasty turn from the very beginning. What promised to be a great venture was nearly completely ruined as a fourth champion, and a Hogwarts one at that was chosen! Florent bit his tongue, after loudly protesting for a few days and soon adjusted to the idea of a fourth champion. It wasn’t long before Harry actually grew on his a little. Sure, he was young, and a little weird, but he was the Harry Potter!

Each task was harder than the last, but Fleur did her best, excelling at her charm work and quick thinking as she dodged the dragons. It would have worked, if the dragon hadn’t snored and singer her skirt. Still, she managed to get the egg in the end, which was really what mattered. The pressure of the following task was thankfully lessened slightly with the announcement of the Yule Ball. Although she originally wanted to attend with Cedric, his date with Cho meant Fleur had to find a suitable partner. She’d been disappointed, but quickly found a suitable replacement in Roger Davies. He turned out to be a rather lovely bloke, if not a little star struck, as they generally were.
Like the first task, Fleur had been warned by Madame Maxime how to attain her hint. Knowing that she’d have to dive into the lake, Fleur practiced the bubble-head charm for days. What she hadn’t expected was that her little sister’s life was going to on the line. Her good luck didn’t last long at all when the Grindilows attacked her, forcing Fleur to turn around. She gained few points, but what mattered most to Fleur had been the safety of her sister. When Viktor and Cedric returned with their hostages, Fleur had to be physically restrained from rushing back into the water to try and save her sister. As luck would have it, the organisers returned Gabrielle to her sister and Fleur and Gabrielle were happily reunited.

Although she would not know this until much later, it was shortly before the third task that Fleur would meet her soul mate. She’d found Bill very attractive from the start, even though she had been dating Roger Davies at the time. She’d only seen him from a distance but would come to leave a lasting impression on her. As she prepared herself for the task at hand, Fleur had been fairly excited. She was nowhere near winning, having gotten the lowest point to date, but she was still fairly certain that thing could still turn around for her. After all, she was brilliant! Indeed, she’d done extremely well in the final task as she found her way to the reaching the cup before any of the other contestants. It wasn’t enough for her to win the tournament, but nothing negative could be said of her performance.

She hadn’t won the tournament but as she returned to France, Florent found that she was actually fairly happy not to have won. Nonetheless, it was such a tragic ending to what had been a fairly fun competition. Fleur had truly cared for Cedric, and his death had devastated her. She, like the rest of his classmates, returned to Beauxbatons with heavy heart. The rest of the school year completed really quickly and soon Florent was going home for the last time.

Florent graduated from Beauxbatons not long after she returned from England. She was fairly disappointed to be graduating, only because she was concerned about his future, not knowing what It would mean. Although Harry Potter had claimed that the Dark Lord had returned, Fleur was actually not that worried. In fact, shortly after returning to France, she started working on an application for a position at Gringotts. She'd been hoping to study finance, but after his time at Hogwarts decided she wanted to do so in England. The position at Gringotts, working as a clerk and helping with translations when necessary allowed her to get that.

She was to graduate in the summer of 1995 and shortly thereafter moved to England to start her new job at Gringotts. It was there that, as luck would have it, she'd run across the very fit Bill Weasley. He, like so very many other blokes, asked her out several months after she started working at Gringotts. Unlike the rest, Fleur actually found herself saying yes and they went out to dinner the following weekend. What followed was an amazing and intense romance as Fleur fell deeply in love.

In the summer of 1996, Bill suffered an attack by a non-transformed werewolf. The attack was terrible, and Bill was left nearly disfigured. Fleur, faithful as ever, stood at Bills side, and contrary to what everyone had assumed, did not leave him in spite of his newly acquired deformities. Fleur really did love Bill, and he meant the world to her. They were engaged shortly thereafter, and Fleur immediately began to plan the gorgeous, expensive wedding she’d always dreamed of; making sure to drag her parents and younger sister from France.

On the 1st of August, 1997, Fleur married Bill in front of all of their friends and family at the Burrow. Unfortunately, the wedding did not at all go as planned, as the celebrations following the wedding were quite rudely interrupted by a barrage of Death Eaters. The attack was terrible, and has forever ruined for Fleur what would have been the happiest day of her file. Even so, she still remembers the day quite fondly, and refuses to think of the bad parts, remembering the portions where she finally became Mrs. William Weasley.

Despite the rather chaotic start to their married life, Fleur and Bill soon settled into their new home. They’d purchased Shell Cottage on the cornish coast a few weeks before their wedding and Fleur had been excited to move in. Their relatively secluded location meant that Bill and Fleur were generally protected from the Ministry and that their home could be used as a safe house. Not long after the attack, Shell Cottage was fortified, and Bill was made secret keeper. Things were unstable, in the wizarding world, but still comfortable enough for Fleur and Bill to continue going to work as usual. Indeed, this would be where Ron would come and hide for a few months after his fall out with Harry and Hermione and Bill had suggested she astray with them for the holidays. Despite what many might consider an imposition, Fleur liked having Ron around. She’d always liked Bill’s youngest brother, and he certainly made their first Christmas together more homely.

A few months later and Ron left their side in favour of returning back to Harry and Hermione, leaving Bill and Fleur alone. Although Fleur was glad to have her husband to herself, the current political climate had her more than a little worried about the trio. Still trying to work with Gringotts and lead a normal life, they continued to help the Order. Around Easter, things seemed to take a turn for the worse and, when Ginny was not to return to Hogwarts, Bill and Fleur decided to go into hiding just as the rest of the Weasleys. It would mean quitting their jobs, but Fleur had no intention of placing them into further danger. Life would be difficult but not overly impossible for the young couple.

Not long thereafter, as summer drew nearer, Shell Cottage became home for further visitors as the trio stumbled home with some new guests following their time at Malfoy Manor. Fleur would spend the next few days doing her very best to nurse Hermione back to health, doing everything in her power to take care of their new visitors. As Bill and the trio planned their infiltration of Gringotts, Fleur did her best to help, taking care of those injured and generally ensuring they had as pleasant a stay as possible. Although Fleur was secretly quite pleased to see Griphook leave, she did her best to ensure his and Olivander’s safe travel to Aunt Muriel; thereby leaving them with Dean and Luna for the remainder of the summer. Although Fleur was less than happy to see Harry, Ron and Hermione run off yet again, she knew it was necessary. The following weeks passed relatively calmly, considering the circumstances, as Fleur got used to their new visitors. Before the summer had really started, however, news came of another battle as Neville Longbottom summoned help. As with the rest of the Order, Fleur was to apparate to Hogwarts to help in what would be the final battle of the war. The next few hours would prove trying, and heartbreaking as several people lost their lives. Fleur did her best to help the Order, managing to incapacitate several Death Eaters; her excellent charm work helping to stem whatever headway they were to gather. The few moments of rest were shared with her husband, as she rarely left his side, especially following the death of his brother. In the end, it was Harry Potter’s sacrifice that was to end things; killing Voldemort once and for all. Once again, Fleur was immensely indebted to him.

Adjusting to life outside of the war proved fairly difficult for Fleur, who now needed to get used to an empty house. Still, they managed well enough and Fleur loved being alone with her husband again. Once things had settled down, and after enjoying a real honeymoon, Fleur went back to work at Gringotts, now pursuing her ideal job within the actual Finance department of Gringotts. It wasn't until about their two year anniversary that the couple began to9 discuss the possibility of children. They'd both decided they wanted children, though with the war the plan had been put on hold. Deciding to give it a try now, Fleur was pregnant almost immediately. The pregnancy was a fairly easy one for Fleur who spent most of those months reading up on just about anything she could possibly find. She and Bill wanted to be prepared for every eventuality, even if other parents made it clear that one could never be prepared enough. They baby was going to be different.

Working until a week or so before her duedate, Fleur was actually quite pleased when she went into labour exactly as planned. Everything was going perfectly. After a few hours later and Fleur quickly realised that the books weren't exactly enough. The pain was unbearable, but finally, six hours in and Fleur was able to hold her little girl in her arms. She was beautiful and absolutely perfect.

The baby girl was named Victoire in honour of her birth, 2 May, 2000; the anniversary of the battle of Hogwarts. Life as a mother was quite an adjustment for Victoire. She did her best to be everything her little girl needed, but the first few months and countless sleepless nights proved difficult. Fleur was to stay at home with their daughter for the first seventh months, returning back to Gringotts shortly after the new year. She'd been worried about leaving Victoire during the day, only managing to settle after Molly absolutely insisted on taking care of her only granddaughter.

The little family soon settled into a routine as Fleur hurried home after work each day to pick up their little girl. For the most part, Victoire was a very happy little baby, and both Bill and Fleur heavily doted on their little girl. As the first gandbaby, Victoire was spoiled by both sets of grandparents and the extended Weasley family. Fleur soon adjusted to her new family life, spending as much time with Victoire as possible, helping to raise the girl properly and teach her everything a little witch should learn. Although Fleur was to return regularly to work, Fleur and Bill soon decided they would try for a second child.

Dominique Weasley was born on 15 July, 2002 in St. Mungos like her sister. A very quiet baby, Fleur found herself worrying less about Dominique. Still, Fleur enjoyed the months at home of her two little girls. Victoire seemed to take to her little sister, and Fleur encouraged the to interact when possible. At the end of her maternity leave, Fleur found it difficult to return to work yet again. However, she did her very best, returning to her training and giving her full effort before happily returning to her husband and little girls.

In the fall of 2003 Fleur became pregnant for the third and last time. Like her previous two pregnancies, this little baby was planned and eagerly awaited, though they had decided that this would be their last child. Hoping desperately for a little boy, Fleur gave birth on 29 March, 2004 to the little boy she was sure her husband had wanted. Although bill had said he would not mind, the look in his eyes made Fleur so happy that they'd finally had a boy; Louis Arthur Weasley.

Like their little girls, Louis was spoiled by his grandparents and extended family. At home, Fleur and Bill did their best to establish a sort of discipline and raise their children to the best of their ability. In an attempt to keep much of her culture, Fleur would celebrate many of the holidays, birthdays and other special events in the French way, making certain to teach her children her native tongue. Bill managed to learn the language himself and helped ensure that the children were reared with a French background. That's not to say that their English heritage was ignored, but Bill and Fleur did their best to incorporate both cultures into their lives.

As few months after Louis's birth, Fleur was to see her little girl off to school for the first time. Having just turned four, it was Victoire's turn to start her education at a local muggle nursery school in Tinworth. Fleur was excited, worried and nervous for her little girl, but she braved school and came home that day jumping for joy. It was the beginning of a new routine for the Weasley family, as the children were quickly growing up. In November, Fleur would return to Gringotts. She'd finished her certification shortly before starting her maternity leave and was now working as a load advisor at Gringotts. She was still nervous about leaving Louis at home, but has now adjusted to life as a working mother.
