Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
from an LJ friend's journal:

hold your head up! moving on...

^ guess where thats from and you could win a blow job!

The use of "could" here is subtle and important. i am ridiculously impressed. (i also was the first to answer correctly, though for sport and not sexual favor, and was referred to the use of "could" in the original entry.)

Sweet Dreams! I love Annie Lennox. Unfortunately, a blowjob would be no good to me.

Happy birthday. I know it is terribly late, but better late than never?

And thank you for the generous donation to make me permanently insane. I am riddled with guilt for having done nothing with this thing for ages, which might be just the push I need to finally force me to write again. Or it could just riddle me with more guilt. Only time will tell.

I am really sorry for never being around (especially since it sounds like you could use soembody to talk to). Truth is, I feel like I've lost most of my ability to say anything in writing (probably because I never try anymore). I have to get back into the habit, I think.

i have missed the hell out of you, but i know other people have these things called "lives" and i'm trying to get one of my own, so it's okay :)
and thank you, yes, better late than never on birthdays... especially as shitty as mine was.
and i would assume that the proper format for the contest would be that the winner would receive oral, regardless of the gender/form issues. but, as i said, could was the operative word. (i was the first to give the right answer, though ;) )
and i do think that writing comes better and more fluidly with practice... though i suppose mine seems to come better and more fluidly from anxiety, panic, stress, and/or strange new activity. but there was a time when if i couldn't sit down and write, i'd make myself sit down and freewrite (sometimes even by hand) until i got over it. i dunno.
do you use AIM?

I don't have AIM, unfortunately, since all my friends seem to use MSN (which I don't think you can use simultaneously). But I can give you that address if there's any chance that you'd ever use it.

And as for that having a life thing, it's really not as extensive as you might imagine from the break I've taken. Mostly I think I'm just, in general, happier than I can remember being in a long time. And while it's a nice feeling, it's a lot harder to be poignant about the really great conversation you just had with somebody about politics in the Ukraine than wishing you were somebody/somewhere else.

you can use MSN and AIM at the same time, but i'll go with whatever.
and i'm really glad you're happy :)

oh, and you should go look at this entry and the comments on it, if you haven't seen already.

That is terribly flattering. I don't even really know what to think about that.
