I do not believe that Vance was killed by the Queen. And the King would have too much to lose if it were him. It is possible, but these are high stakes and it doesn't quite fit.So, who would stand to gain from weakening the monarchy? It would also have to be someone who already knew the history of Vance and the Prince. That list is fairly short.
