Dear Tasha,

I hope it's okay that I contact you here. I was thinking about inviting Isaac to come to a Giants practice. After talking to the team and explaining his situation, everyone basically feels like it would be great if he could come to a practice. We want to get him a signed jersey, show him the drills we run and maybe just play some catch with him. I understand that you would have to chaperone him and I don't want to waste your precious time, but if it would work for you to bring him some day for a couple of hours that would be great. My number is at the bottom if you'd rather call or send a text. Thanks for considering!

First off let me apologize in the delay for getting back to you. This morning has been hectic and a bit crazy as you can well imagine. I've been in contact with the parents and Issac himself and think that this is a great idea. Apparently his dream is to be one of you one day, and here I thought he was just a fan. I'm not sure when your practices start or if they are even going on as of yet but we can definitely make this happen. As for me personally it's good to get out of the office when we can especially for something that's going to bring so much joy to a child whose had such a hard life already.The only thing I ask is it not be on Monday because work is super hectic after the weekend. Thank you for coming up with this, you really have made Issacs life I believe. --Tasha

No, no apologies needed! I used your business email, and I'm sure you had other business to attend to. I'm okay with waiting. He really is a great kid, and I'd say that even if he wasn't my biggest fan. To keep his chin up and stay positive with all of this going on is just incredible. I think everyone could take away a lesson from his story. And we can most definitely work around your hectic Mondays. I may even have a surprise or two for you, just as a thank you for setting me up with this amazing kid. Even though I know you're no football fan we're going to set you up with a jersey and a pair of tickets to a game. I thought you might like to see in person how football is done, and how I avoid the 300lb linebacker running toward me with hunger in his eyes. Thought you might enjoy that. Anyway I won't take up any more of your time. We are practicing every day for the most part except Sundays and some Saturdays so whenever you're schedule looks light we'll make it work. And thanks for the compliment, that makes me feel good.
