Joel listened to Tasha explain that she'd be okay to take off work and had to fight a huge smile. Instead he just nodded and took a drink of the hot coffee that was just delivered. Gosh she was cute. So many girls had no depth to them, but here Tasha was, a girl who actually thought for herself and could make anyone laugh. He enjoyed her to say the least.
Joel laughed out loud when she explained what Isaac had been teaching her about football. Especially about the Jers sucking. "No, I think he did a pretty good job explaining stuff. I mean I could probably teach you a few more things, but you've got a good grasp." Her phone rang and she turned it off and asked about his plans for the day. "Yeah I have to pick Corie up in a while, but I probably don't need to pick her up for a few hours." He then listened to her explain her mom trying to set her up with nice Hindu men, and he shook his head. " I'm sure your mom just wants you to be happy with someone she approves of, but she doesn't realize she's making you miserable in the process. Not to mention that you're most likely ignoring her phone calls." He nodded to her silent phone. "Just because you're divorced from a man who I'm going to go out on a limb and guess was not Hindu, doesn't mean it'll happen again if you fall in love with a man who isn't Hindu. The problem is I doubt she'll understand that unless you prove her wrong."
